    Default Airtel complaint - About CHEATING the customers

    Hello,

    I have a complaint against Kerala airtel prepaid.....I have been contacting for customer care from March 10th and everyday the executives transfer the call to senior executives....But the call reaches to amazing places......Tamil Nadu customer care.....Karnataka customer care....Airtel postpaid customer care...land line customer care....etc....!!!! In short even though I made more than 20 calls to the customer care, i did not get a proper answer to my question and my call did not transfer to whome it should reach ..... !!!!!!!! executives gave me the number of Nodal officer , tried thrice to that number.......attending the call, but putting on hold.......The result was just i lost my 6 to 7 rupees and my valuable time, could not even hear his voice. So I am trying though this........even though no much expectations.

    On April 10th, I bought a Top up reacharge coupon of 30....it has been written on the card that the calling value will be 25.20 Rs.....But I got 24.20 Rs only (1 Re less). Customer care executives said they have changed the plan giving sms offers for some days....My question is that if a customer did not contact the customer care, how come a customer can know about this cheating offer ? You are sending dozens of sms to each customers about different offers, but none informing about this change...I could not see such an information in any of the TV, news paper ads.....Another customer executive told me that those are old stock recharge coupons.....I believe that if Airtel is not a cheating company, they had to withdraw all such cards and launch new cards (as it is very easy since their delears visit each such shops almost every day).

    I had another experience too....One customer care executive told me that they will credit 1 Re and cost of nodal officer calls within 5 minutes, but it did not happen.......When i called after that they told me some network issues, and will be contacting me within 48 hours.........that 48 hours is not yet finished even after 4 days !!!!

    Now, i have decided to turn against Airtel at any cost....as they were just playing with me transferring the calls.....as they did not contact me within 48 hours as they told......as they did not credit 5 Rs to my account as offered.....above all as they are CHEATING the customers like me..

    To the viewers of this........Please do not allow for any such cheating of major companies..they are getting huge profit from such cheating......When i infromed about this to a youth club, they supported me and we decided to write a complaint to the consumer court from maximum customers and the good news is that another telecom company has offered us full support against this offering full expense for this.

    I would like to know what do the airtel guys say about all this.

    Exclamation Airtel deducting money for unused services.

    I am being tortured by Airtel in that whenever I recharge, large amounts of money ranging from Rs. 50-Rs. 250 at various times have been deducted automatically by them for various services which I haven't subscribed for - like Video downloading, internet downloading etc. I dont know how it is possible as I have an old model of Nokia mobile which doesnot have such facilities and I have never used these. Whenever I complaint by SMS or try to Unsubscribe through SMS I lose Rs. 3 per each transaction, but they donot unsubscribe and a message come"Sorry, Your request cannot be porcessed at this time. Please try after sometime." But after trying a second time, the same thing repeats and I lose further money.
    I am on the verge of registering a complaint at consumer court and disconnecting my Airtel service and trying elsewhere as there is no dearth for new connections.

    Default Rs. 3 getting deducted from the account every day!

    Hi,

    Rs. 3 is getting deducted from my airtel prepaid account everyday. I have not subscribed for any services. When I tried to reach the customer service, I am not getting any response. Kindly help me out.

    Exclamation Complaint against Airtel-Kerala circle

    Hi,

    I have been an Airtel Postpaid customer for more than 6months. Since i have planned to go abroad, i thought of disconnecting Postpaid and convert it to a prepaid connection without changing the number. When i accompanied an Airtel Relationship center in kozhikode (on Jan 19, 2011), the executive said that it is not possible to convert my no. to prepaid and told me to terminate the connection permenantly if necessary. When MNP was launched, i thought of porting my number to Tata Docomo (prepaid). For this purpose I generated a porting ID, cleared the dues and submitted the proof on 27th Jan 2011. I have waited almost 13 (days which included 2 holidays) and still didnt get my number ported to Docomo. When i enquired Docomo office, they said that the Airtel rejected my MNP application, and the reason was that of not clearing the outstanding dues. But i have cleared the dues and i have still have the proof. Please take necessary action as soon as possible.

    Why ia it that from 25.2.2011 only 100 msg per day san be sent for free?
    We have availed the free sms pack but now it is not of any use.
    Pls get back to us the old sms previlages
