I am ankit singhal. The idea phone number: 7860592191.I am really frustated with the services that you provide. I am basically talking about the internet service you provide. I am not really satisfied with the service, and with the staff and customer helpline associated with it.I majorly use idea for the internet access and have spent thousands of rupees on accessing it but there has been lots of problem associated with it.
The problems that i face while using the internet provided by "idea" are as follows:
1. There is a 3G data plan of Rs 8 which offers Internet (3G) connectivity for 30 minutes which i really doubt.
According to my estimate 30 minutes that you claim to offer is not exactly 30 minutes, it is 20-30 seconds less which is quite enough to cause a severe damage to the balance in my main account, to nill the balance in my main account. I have experienced this couple of times. You may wanna recheck, troubleshoot this 8rs data plan and check its time limit. This inexactness gives me a lot of headache and frustation.
2. I have experienced this couple of times. I activate the data plan of 8 rs with 30 minutes time limit. Now, i know that internet access is for 30 minutes only and the internet will either get disconnect or remain connected using the balance in my main account. To avoid both of the above situation, i at 29th minute, without fail, reactivate the same 8rs data plan by sending the USSD for it *150*08#. I see that yeah the time has been extended and 8rs has been deducted but at the same time i also see something that makes me crazy like hell. With my estimation and research, when i do the process mentioned above to avoid disconnection, apart from the deduction of 8 rs additional 21 rs also got disconnected. This is not happened just once, this has also happened couple of times. I wanna know why on god's name this happens.
3. here is a situation i am gonna explain. Once, i got a data plan of 103rs with 300 Mb of 3G data for 30 days. Now, i use the internet( via a USB modem by inserting the SIM card inside it and using internet on the laptop) and when my work on internet is over, i disconnect before checking the data i have downloaded. It showed the data downloaded is 283 Mb. Now, i check my balance and i see 43 rs extra has been deducted. So, here is to make it short, I have 300 Mb, i download 283 Mb and i lose 43 rs extra on internet access. That means i downloaded the data of more than 300 Mb. I need an explanation to this. I call up the technical guy, and says he has no knowledge of it right now the status will be updated after 4 hours. I tell him some of the problems i face using internet which have already been mentioned and during conversation he says, that the machine shows that i have used internet by the recharge of the data plan of 8rs (for 30 minutes) on 19/08/2012 at 10.47AM. To hearing this, i got really furious, because i did not use the internet at the mentioned time and date. I was somewhere else, busy doing some other work. I had the cell phone with me, SIM card with me, my cell phone does not have internet access feature , so how could the machine say that i have used the internet on the particular time and date. They say customer is always right and yeah i am damn right. The technical guy also tells me that i have got the refund of 12rs owing to unneccessary deduction of 21rs. I also doubt this, when your machine could say that i used internet at so and so time without having to use it, how could i trust that refund has been made. I was not made aware of the refund. Now, i have a question on this one also, if suppose, they made a refund of 12rs( i am not ready to believe it,it hypothetical belief) then why not full 21rs refund why only 12rs refund?
4. I ask, why is there no USSD for the internet data balance check like airtel has. If i want to check what my data balance is, i have to call up 500160 and listen to unneccessary and time-consuming instructions.Why can you not make our lives simpler, technology is supposed to do that so where is it?
Looking at the weight of the problems i could say that i am being harrassed for using an internet.My major use is internet and if this keeps on continuing, i may have to rethink sticking to the service provider IDEA. I need an explanation to each and everything. Clear all of my doubts, take appropriate actions, and i want refund of my money. STOP HARRASEMENT!
