I applied for Mobile No. Portability code on 30th of July, and i received a call from vodafone regarding retention.
I asked him for 250 plan in 3G and he informed me that plan will be activated from 1st of Aug as my billing period starts from 1st of every month.
Next day i call vodafone customer care to confirm about the request and found that he hasn't forwarded it yet, so i told her to forward the request on same day. She told me it will take 48 hrs to activate it.
On 2nd Aug. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy with which i got a free 3G bundle offer with it. This bundle offer request was forwarded on same day automatically and i got a sms for this request.
On 3rd Aug around 5-6 pm i confirmed with vodafone postpaid that which plan will get activate. The Customer care confirmed me that bundle offer has been activated and i got the sms for the same and he also confirmed me that 250 plan will not be activated as this bundle offer has already been activated.
On 10th Aug i got a call from vodafone informing me about 3G services. She told me that i had 250 plan activated on my phone. I confirmed from vodafone customer care and he told me that on 4th Aug they receive request for 250 plan activation and first bundle offer got activated and then after that 250 plan was activated.
Vodafone intentionally deactivated the bundle offer and activated the 250 plan just for money and
giving excuses and hiding behind the fact that i requested for 250 plan and thus they have activated it.
I m lodging a complaint for this harassment soon in Consumer Court in lieu of "Depriving consumer from promised offer and intentionally charging for it and providing wrong information"
I had all the emails from vodafone customer care and sms as a proof for my case.
I would like to make consumers aware of pathetic vodafone customer care and the way they understood and write mail content.
i have already used that portal and the guess vodafone customer care is not interested in solving the problem. So there is no more time to waste on it. I have already filed a case against vodafone.
This email repeats the same words what you have been telling me so far.
I just want to state that wrong information was provided to me by vodafone customer care on plan activation (on 3rd Aug). If the customer care would have told me that 250 plan will activate after bundle offer that i would have cancelled that plan on the spot.
Why should i pay for the vodafone misleading information. This information was not provided to me with intention of charging me instead of free offer.
I agree that bundle offer can not be activated again but i will not pay any charges 3G services in my bill for 2 months.

2 days ago I had recharged of rs 249 in which I get 1gb 3G Internet but its still not activated i had called customer care more than 10 times but whenever I call they just say send act 3G to 144 in 4 hrs it will be activated now I'm waiting from 2days it's still showing E that means still edge no 3G
