Angry Complaint about Vodafone Overcharged Bill

    Ref: Vodafone Mobile No. 9820993347

    Sub: Extra Charged Mobile

    Sir/Madam,

W.r.t. above, I'm facing problem with Vodafone for being extra charged mobile Bill.

Below is email lastly I sent to vodafonecare.mum@vodafone.com on dtd.18/08/2009 & last reminder on dtd.23/09/2009, which is self explanatory:-

    QUOTE:-

    >>Cc: sunjoy45@gmail.com
    >>Subject: 9820993347Sir/Madam,
    >>
    >>This is w.r.t. today's call given by one of your executives from cell no.+919769013333, I'm very much upset & disappointed.
    >>
    >>1. Vodafone not ready to accept their mistake that vodafone wrongly charged Rs.109223.00; when my credit limit is only of Rs.37900.00.
    >>
    >>2. When my credit limit is only Rs.37900.00, it's understood that I cannot avail any services like calls/sms/GPRS if I cross that limit of Rs.37,900.00. Vodafone stopped my mobile service from dtd.23/08/2009 as I crossed my credit limit.
    >>
    >>3. Vodafone executive informed me again that they have sent me a sms on 15/08 that my usuage was of Rs.32,500.00 & also on 19/08 that my usuage till date was of Rs. 34,000.00.
    >>
    >>4. Till 19/08 my bill outstanding was Rs.34,000.00 & on 23/08 my services were barred. How it's possible that just in 4days of time my usage exceeds to level of Rs.109,223.00????
    >>
    >>5. In bill breakup it's showing GPRS service being charges Rs.48725.00 only for the time 15:47 on dt.22/08/2009 & that for surfing of 88500kbs. This not possible for anyone surf this much on phone.
    >>
    >>6. Vodafone executive shocked me today once again on phone that when anybody is on international roaming, they cannot access the usuage in int'l roaming unless it's given by their associate operator. As far as I know, it's day to day & minute to minute update with dates and bill is also showing the same. And how did Vodafone gave me sms on 15/08,19/08 about my usuage? That means it's a lie.
    >>
    >>7. I also wonder if this was the case, then why Vodafone did not inform their associate operator about the credit limit of their resp customer, to avoid any kind of hurdles like this? But Vodafone didnot do anything like and seems doesnot care.
    >>
    >>8. Suppose if their associate operator raise usuage of Rs.10lacs to a vodafone customer in int'l roaming, which are non genuine then also vodafone will tell their customer to pay off as it's usuage being shown by their associate operator. This is not acceptable at all.
    >>
    >>9. It's very clear that it's vodafone duty & responsibility to avoid such inconvience for their customers like me, who is using thihs number from more than 10years & regular payer without any default.
    >>
    >>10. Vodafone is a global Telecom Hightech company & they have day to day & minute to minute update with dates and bill is also showing the same.
    >>
    >>11. From the above it's crystal clear that Vodafone wrongly charged Rs.1,09,223.00 in bill of this month payable.
    >>
    >>I hope you'll consider me as your one of reputed & good payer customer for more than a decade, and so I request you to reverse the charges immediately which are non geuine / wrongly charged by rectifying the error/mistake ; as I'm liable to pay only under my credit limit sanctioned by Vodafone & nothing more than that.
    >>
    >>Thanking you,
    >>
    >>Regards/

Default overcharged bill for 3 months

I have been a loyal customer for two years. In October I recieved a massive bill. It was very unusual and I rung to see why.
I was dismissed quickly and told I had gone over my minutes.
After alot of effort and investigation on my part, it turns out you have been charging me 25p a minute for calls rather than 5.
I am still being mis charged, over 3 months this is alot of money (several hundred pounds) which you automatically take from my account.
    It is technically STEALING.
I was told an investigation would take place and I would be contacted in 7 days on 21 Nov. Today I rang for the second time to see
how it was going. They told me that the investigation was cancelled and they could re launch it and Id have to wait a further 7 days.
This is completly unacceptable and Id appreciate your swift help in resolving this matter.
I expected better from vodaphone and wish to renew my contract/upgrade but am losing my confidence in this network.
Please look into this matter and contact me ASAP. My bills overcharged international calls to landlines should be 5p instead of 25p.
The main calls are to my parents which is a landline. Othercalls to landlines all overcharged. In addition these minutes have been counted as my inclusives which they are not.

I'd appreciate your swift action to resolve this matter. If I do not hear from you in a few days you will leave me no choice but to cancel my account with vodaphone and seek to recouperate my stolen money from other avenues. This has caused considerable stress and time (which im a new mum and dont have) in which I have patiently tried to resolve this matter to no avail. It is simply at the point now where it is unacceptable
