    Default Vodafone Prepaid Mobile disconnected witrhout notice

    Gentlemen,

    I purchased the SIM card of the number 9874693369 9874693369 around Arpil last year 2008. I had submitted a self attested photocopy of my Driving License as my identity proof and shown the retalier the original DL as well.

    I have been using the service till today 03 October 2009 afternoon. I found the line temporarily disconnected. On calling, they said, they have found that I did not show my original identity document while purchase have disconnected the service as per Government Regulation. I have to take my original DL to a Vodafone Store to get the service restored.

    I ask :

    Why could they not check my document at purchase?
    How could they allow an unaothorised service - as claimed now - to run for more than 18 months?
    If they have an issue after this long, why should they not come to me and collect the document?
    Why would they not ask for the document instead od disconnecting the line?

    Please could you take stern steps to reveal the unfair practise and force to shell out compensation for the harrassment?

    It is bring to your kind notice that, I was using a vodafone sim (purchased in pune), since sep 2008. I have submitted the id proof at the time of purchase. But without any pre-intimation they disconnected my network service, 1 week back. when i went to nearest vodafone centre (Aundh, Pune), they told me go and purchase a new sim, stating that this is the only option left for me. This number is very important to me, as I have all my business contacts having this number.

    I am suffering from this problem for more than a week. Every time when i contact them they tell new story each time.

    Now It is last option left for me...

    Dear All,

    For your complaint you will have to send a written complaint to the nodal officer of the Company. Pls. provide us your complete residential address as soon as possible, to get the contact details of your Area Circle, Nodal officer.

    It is bring to your kind notice that, I was using a vodafone sim (purchased in pune), since sep 2008. I have submitted the id proof at the time of purchase. But without any pre-intimation they disconnected my network service, 1 week back. when i went to nearest vodafone centre (Aundh, Pune), they told me go and purchase a new sim (By Ms Shilpa), stating that this is the only option left for me. This number is very important to me, as I have all my business contacts having this number. I am facing my financial loss, and mental harassment for above said reason.

    I am suffering from this problem for more than two week. Every time when I contact them they tell new story each time.

    Now I have last option to complaint the same to the consumer court.

    The above said msg is for you also.
    As said by Advocate(the moderator of the forum) you must send a written complaint to the nodal officer of the Company.
    Plz provide here your complete residential address ASAP, to get the contact details of your Area Circle, Nodal officer.

    Following this step will be helpful to you only.

    For your complaint you will have to send a written complaint to the nodal officer of the Company. Wait for the response for at least 10 days because the Nodal officer will have to provide you any solution within 10 working days. Send a written complaint and kindly revert back soon after getting any reply from him. The email address is:

    As per your advice I have mailed the same information to the your given e-mail address (krishna.p@vodafone.com), But how I can send him written complaint?I don't have his postal address.

    As per your given Id I mailed the complaint, Some day they called me at my given number and same day my problem was solved.

    It is great relax as of now, i was trying my best to get the solution, no body was replying satisfactory.

    Really ... This service provided in our country, I am Proud of your service..

    i am using vodafone prepaid sim card(9986217650) from more than 3 years, on 08.11.2009 they blocked my sim, without any reason,

This number is very important to me, as I have all my business contacts having this number. I have done network recharge today. I am ready to submit the passport id proof if required.

    Post disconnection of no. 9736180332

    i purchased vodaone connection on 22 oct/2009 from vodafone mini store, jassur teh nurpur.. distt kangra
    i submitted the documents.
    1 photo and voter idenditity card's xerox on the same day.. on the name of

    Shivani thapa
    d/o Devinder thapa
    26a muhal kakira
    jarei block no.2
    teh-bhattiyat
    distt chamba(hp)-176313
    after few days..

    verification team called me..
    and they told me that it is on the name of ajay kumar r/o teh nurpur
    i was shocked.
    and my connection was disconnected..
    i contact vodafone mini store..
    they said that..we dont know anything.
    i talked to nodal office..
    then i again submitted the documents..
    but today on 18dec/2009
    its again disconnected due to non submission of documents..

    some retailers in my city and one of vodafone store employee told me that..
    vodafone local office in nurpur misuse the documents..they make many copy of the doucuments and activate fake connections

    .even there is many connection on the name of shivani thapa

    but i am having only 2 connections on this name
    1. 9736180332
    2. 9836250541

    so its my request to u..to take action against vodafone..
    and disconnect all other connections on my name...
