Please go through the letter quoted below. Contact me for any further clarification at my address or my cell no. 09432311488. I have already submitted the hard copy of the following letter to DEP (Internal), Cossipore Telephone Exchange and soft copies to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. Till now, no positive action has been taken, but the telephone has been disconnected this morning. QUOTE Dear Sir, With reference to the telephone bill served to me payable by 28.04.2009 it is requested to rectify the said fictitious bill amounting to Rs. 50298.00 towards Broadband usage charged and to send the correct bill at your earliest to enable me to clear it up. I applied for plan change as per revised tariff plans from calcuttatelephones.combeing a "Home Plan UL 750" user I applied for "Reduced Monthly Fixed Charge" Rs. 500.00 in place of "Existing Monthly Fixed Charge" Rs. 750.00 within its applicable time-frame. Hence I am not supposed to pay any amount towards "BB Usage Charge". Avoiding this type of error leading to harrassment of a bona-fide senior citizen customer in future will be appreciated. Scanned documents attached: 1. Copy of this letter. 2. Bill for the period March 2009. 3. Last bill paid for February 2009. 4. Broadband plan change scheme. 5. Subsequent follow-up letter dated 23.03.2009. 6. Calcutta Telephones BB Home Plan Tariffs. 7. Calcutta Telephones BB Home Plan Modified Tariffs. Thanking you, Yours faithfully, Ramgobinda Chakraborty. UNQUOTE
Being a senior citizen, I am going through tough times for this incident. Since we have not paid the amount, we are not into any economic trouble, but the telephone being disconnected, I am having quite a good load of mental stress and feeling of lack of security, confidence and trust.
1. Immediate reconnection (with STD-ISD) 2. Issue of corrected bills.
