    Angry problem regarding migration of airtel prepaid number to postpaid

    i had applied for migration of my prepaid AIRTEL number to postpaid on 28th dec'08, i maid several complaints went to the airtel outlet a lot of times, every time i was told the problem will be solved on the same day but it is still remaining.
    kindly help.

    i had applied for migration of my prepaid AIRTEL number to postpaid on 13th Oct'11, i maid several complaints went to the airtel outlet a lot of times, every time i was told the problem will be solved on the same day but it is still remaining.

    i have mnp my number from vodafone to air tel... and i am an pre paid user. Now i am wishing to convert my number from prepaid to post paid. But the air customer care is saying that MNP numbers can not convert from prepaid to postpaid. can i change my no. to post paid ?? waitng for postive reply ...

    Reg- Airtel Prepaid to Postpaid Migration.


    Mobile Nuimber :- 9994204994
    Locaton :- Chennai.

    Am Vasanthakumar,being Airtel Prepaid customer for almost 5 Yrs,I just planned to migrate my number to postpaid and applied for the same more than one month before.Until day before yesterday their where no response from Airtel.

    But by Yesterday i received a message from Airtel (404) as "We have released your number for Postpaid activation" and by today suddenly they have disconnected my Prepaid Connection by 18:00 Hrs. So i inserted my new Postpaid SIM and waited for Activation.

    Until today 21:00 Hrs their is no activation with the new SIM.So i complained with Customer care and about this.But they simply told me that it will take another 24 Hrs. As i am working in a organization i fed up with more vendors and customers.So How can i able to manage a day with out mobile.

    Prior they told me it will take only 10 Mins for activation. But now they reporting me it will take 24 Hrs. This is the way of commitment whether Airtel do with customers.

    Request you to kindly look into this ASAP. Thanks in advance.

    Angry Unnecessary delay in migrating to Airtel Postpaid

    Hi.... My Airtel prepaid number is 9880376572.

    On 7th of December I applied for prepaid to postpaid migration. I was promised by the sales person (Mahesh - Airtel Madhepura office, Whitefield, Bangalore) that the migration will be done in 48 to 72hours and within 1-2days my address verification will be done and in the same day postpaid connection will get activated. So ideally my number should have been migrated to postpaid by now.

    Today is 13th of December.... but still now my address verification has not been done..., leave alone the migration to postpaid. Everytime I call up the sales person he says that the server is down and there is a problem in the back-end. This seems to be a copybook response.

    I can't digest that Airtel servers would be down 24/7 for such a long time.. point 1, point 2 - Why do you make false promises to your customers that the migration will be done in 3 working days.??!

    I want Airtel to look into this issue.., and get my number migrated to postpaid ASAP..!!

    Default Not Succesfully Migrated

    To
    The Manager

    I, Mayank Saraogi bearing no. 9845407335 from Bangalore have migrated from prepaid to postpaid.
    The migration was completed on 17th December 2011, but i am still able to see my prepaid balance by dialling *121#
    According to me in postpaid if you dial *121# then you should get option for outstanding, unbilled etc. but i get prepaid menu options such as balance, validity, my offers etc.
    Also when i send mail to 121@in.airtel.com, my mail lands in prepaid department and not in postpaid though i am a post paid customer.

    I have registered many complaints but no resolution yet.
    I hope you look into the matter and resolve it with immediate effect.
