Please refer to all the above complains and last three replies by Sony India Team : They have not even addressed the name of the person they are replying to. Are they replying to my problem or any other persons problem. It shows the way the things are handled by Sony India. Disgusting.

I had purchased H- 55 model Sony camera bearing serial No. 8653371 from M/s Goldie Camera World Visakhapatnam ( Andhra Pradesh ) vide invoice No.485 date 08.05.2010, but from the date of purchase a white spot is visible on display screen as well as on the image print. I had brought to your notice from dt16.5.2010 and request has been logged as : 5315693, and I had earlier send the image copies by e mail to your good office on 19.5.2010. once again I am sending the images now. As per your instruction I gave the camera for repair at Sony service centre to M/s Sudha Electronics, Visakhapatnam ( Andhra Pradesh) for repair ( vide job card No. VS 67984 dt. 14.6.2010 ). The engineer of service centre said it is a manufacturing defect of lens so the lens is to be changed and it require 7 days for replacement of the said lens, but till date the camera has not been repaired.
I had paid for a new and good condition camera but the camera is defect from the date of purchase, in spite of paying a heavy amount for the camera I am unable to use it, why should I suffer for your manufacturing defect, so I request you to give me a new camera instead of repairing the defect one.
I am staying at Rayagada ( Orissa ) 210 K.M away from Vishakapatnam it’s not possible to go several times for a camera. Please instruct the dealer to replace with a new camera, as I have to attend my nephew’s marriage on 28th of June, hope a justified and early reply.

We have gone through your complaint and suggest you to send a written notice via registered post to the CMD of Sony, mention all the details in it, attach photocopy of all the supporting document and ask them for the replacement within the mentioned time in the notice.
Wait for their response and revert us back.
Note: Keep all the copy of Complaint, Notice and the registered post slip, this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

I'm writing from Turkey. I bought Sony Vaio pc at Vatan computer in Ankara November 26, 2009. My pc model NW2STF, P7450. I used pc only seven months and there is a cracked place near the left touch pad (cracked place: above the SD card place) and I believed there is no user error. I thought that there is a defect of design because there is a blank place and it facilitates the break and crash- there is no support for SD card.
Now I want to change this case with no charge because I have guarantee.
i gave a walkman nwz-202 which got a problem of low sound the executives f sony center tell me that your walkman will be replaced within 7 days but now 1 months later they tell me the they will call as the set comes the serrvices of replacement are so very lazy .

This regarding the complaint against Jayangar Branch (bangalore) service center, yesterday when i called to check the charges, somebody called Girija she recived the call and she told only about visiting charge and spares chages if any, then today that service person has come to service, he told visiting charge, service chage+ tax and spares, then i called service center they are arguing that yeterday we told about all charges, but they hav not informed about service chage. after that some argument, she (Girija) told okay you pay only visiting chages(250) + tax(76) and service charge(150), i paid the total amount Rs.426/- and after that i called sony customer care they told that service charge is only Rs.100/-, i don't understand how these people are charging this and this is cheating the people. pls take the action aginst this service center. otherwise i will put a case on this service center.

I support him, though i don't know him personally i've never met him.

and the problem which i'm facing they are not ready to accept it as a problem, when i ask them to compare it with the fresh model infront of me, there also they are not ready to compare it infront of me,

i have bought sony music system in year 2008 for rs 15000. with one - year warrantee. in 2009 i got it repaired with the expense of rs 5000 without any further warrantee. just two months back it got defected again. and the most irritating part the naraina service center take 15-20 days to check it and told me that the estimated expense is 8000 and spare parts are not avialable with them. i feel like throwing that system in garbage. i swear i will not be buying any sony products from now on and ask other people for the same

Camera DSC-TX1 purchased five months back developed problem of no display. Given for repair at Service center at Begumpet, Hyderabad on 31 Aug. They don't give proper feed back. On seeing some scratches on the body, they have written "set fallen down" remark on the receipt. Visited service centre and they say that the product is still under repair.
On writing a mail to Sony care, Sony care AP gives a phone no of Area Manager and asks us to contact. I do not understand as to why we need to run around service center and area managers etc even for a renowned MNC company like SONY. Have purchased product for using or keeping in Sony Service Center for months? Why cant the service center update us with status on phone. Once complained to Sony India, is it that their reaction should be to give area managers no to contact?
Till date, there is no feed back, neither on phone nor on mail. Extremely unhappy with SONY SUPPORT SERVICES.

Hello, I'd submitted my sony ericsson W580i for repair at sony ericsson's service center in Sector-12, Dwarka. The mobile no. of the sony ericsson's authorised service center representative no. is 9811787399 and the manager (Ms. Shivani ) is 9711286931. I'd submitted my phone which was under warranty on 24th of june 2010 and till today, i.e. 4th oct, 2010 I've not got it back. Everytime i call them they say that you will get it in 7-10 days. This is really annoying as we as a customer can not do anything except to wait,,, but for how long shall we wait. They first asked me whether my phone is in warranty or not and after confirming that it is in warranty they didn't did anything. They are like you will get it as it is in warranty. I'd given my phone on 24th of june and the warranty period had expired on 18th september,2010. The problem with my handset was that it is not able to start and prior to that the bluetooth was not working. But now when i call them they said that sorry sir we are trying our best....
This is a very careless attitude from the service center of such a highly reputed company. My complaint no. is 87912031 and job sheet no. is SE310COD10564. Kindly do something.
