Dear Sir /Madam,
I, Priyanshu Goyal, am a resident of Mumbai and an Airtel mobile customer for last three years. My mobile numer is 9867427087. With utmost regret, I am compelled to write this letter to you after getting a harrowing time from Airtel mobile service. Since July, 2009, my connectivity is very poor. Most of the times, the voice quality is very poor and thre are frequent call drops. When I contact the customer care, they give me a standard reply that the issue will be resolved soon but still after two months the issue is pending. When I try to contact the nodal officer, he does not pick up the phone. I had a lot of faith and expectations from a big company like Airtel, but unfortunately, their pathetic service has shattered all my expectations. Sometimes, I can't beleive I am getting this type of service in 21st century in a city like Mumbai. I,therefore, humbly request you to do the needful and oblige.
Thanking You,
Priyanshu Goyal

Dear Sir / Madam,
This is in regards to my mobile number 9967499995.
Ihave been using this number since the past 3 years and more, however this is the strangest this that i have been subjected to. Kindly note the happenings and provide me some help as its a matter of concern for me.
Chorologically : October 2008 - I recieved a call from my Relationship manager Sarang Jabeen , phone number 9867046596 and she requested me to change my billing plan to Alex 299 FV instead of Alex 299 which i was using since the past 2 years earlier. She cited the prices are the same and on top of all i receive a bonus free talk tie of 250 rupess or so, i accepted the same and it changed and all fared well.
April May 2009 - I checked that the billing happening to me on my roaming services were being charged at Rs 1.5 in this bill plan as against Rs 1 in the bill plan Alex 299 which i was convinced to surrender in September 2008.
June 2009 - After seeing my mobile bill i called up customer service on 121 and requested that i should be moved back to the earlier plan where Outgoing on roaming is at RS 1( i had plans to be on roaming for approx 6 months ) I was told that the same will happen however the changes will be in force from the next billing cycle. My next billing cycle meant the changes will be in force from 10th July 2009. Also i was told that changing the bill plan mid month is no more permitted under any circumstances.
30th August 2009 - I was trying to be in touch with airtel customer care since the time i received the bill for the month of July 2009. However whenever i called 121 i was routed to an automated system and couldnt speak to anyone regarding the same.
On 30th August i made deliberate attempts to get in touch with Airtel and made plans to go to SIliguri and contacted Relationship Centre, i lodged my complain that the bill plan which should have changed has not changed and hence my bill amount has shot up. I wrote up a written letter and submitted my request to correct the bill as per the bill plan requested in which my outgoing calls on roaming will be charged at Rs 1. The next day i receive an SMS confirming that my bill plan has changed to the one requested ( to my surprise in the middle of my billing cycle and also promptly ). However i was told that there was no way i was billed wrongly and i am supposed to pay the bill that i have received.
Since then from 5th September onwards i have received calls from airtel on a daily basis who ask me when i am going to pay the bill and i speak out my heart and the next day bingo .. a new caller calls up with the same request.. i explain the same.. and then alas the other day someone else calling me about the same and none of them concerned about the why of the problem. I got a helper in the name of pradeep who tried doing something but in the end he said he was helpless as i had contacted the wrong department. He suggested i should go to customer care and lodge my complain again. I called 121 promptly to some hope.. but alas i was told that the systems have been upgraded to some ICRA and data related to june 2009 will be avaialable only on the old software, i kept on holding the phone for another 15 minutes when i was told that the system is not responding and she was not able to log onto the older software.Alas this attempt goes down the drain.
Post that date, i have recieved calls and have taken them with most regards and explained my problem to at least 20 executives but none had the authority to make something happen on the same case.
Yesterday my number got barred for all calls.... a 3 year old affair ends with airtel...
my basic request : Please correct my bills for July and august as per alex 299 where outgoing on roaming is not 1.5 and is only 1 rs.
If possible provide me some waiver on the bill as u can see majority of the calls incoming on my number in september 2009 where from Airtel concerned about me paying the bill.
One more clarification : I was sent an SMS that my total outstanding is some 21000 rupees and i should make a payment else i number will be disconnected. I at once took that point seriously and tried making a payment, to my bad luck the MCHEK systems didnt respond to which i called up on 121 from Mumbai ( my only 1 day stay in the past 3 months ) and told that its not working and requested them to make some arrangements so that i can make some partial payment but this didn't happen and after 4 days my number got disconnected
I am writing this mail in need of some genuine help and consideration and hope the same will be provided and we would be able to break this confusion and deadlock amicably.
Waiting for a reply
Regards
Md Faisal
