They sent a mail confirming of receipt of the order and asked to make the payment of Rs. 2999 in advance to get prioritized delivery of your Ubislate7+ in March and also the shipping charges will be waived off. They didnt deliver it in march. Then they agreed to deliver it between 30 april-15 May but still till today (29/05/2012) i have not received the product. The payment of Rs. 2999 already done on 15/02/2012 and i got confirmation of receipt of the money from them and from my bank also. All conversations are on mail as proof. Its been 5 months (154 Days) and only commitments are done from the company and not processed the order yet.

I claim that i want my tablet free of cost from the company now and return my whole money + intrest for 6months and a penalty for the mental harrassment caused by them.

Again a commitment has been raised and as experienced it will also turn false.

Datawind will have to pay the penalty for so much of delay and for all the false commitments. And also the intrest for using our money for so many months.

I request you all to submit your complaint against Datawind Innovations Pvt. at Ministry of Consumer Affairs, go here [www][dot]core[dot][nic][dot]in [Replace dot with (.)]and register yourself. Submit your complaint and after that you'll get a COMPLAINT NUMBER, by which you can track the progress.

One have to fill a form there and the website was showing error message while selecting the options of the form but if one persists they will be able to get their complaint posted.

I have booked Aakash tab (a project sponsored by the Indian Government, Ministry of Human Resource Development)in the month of March 2012 and was given booking ID "PM2A3DBE2158. I have got a mail from them saying if I decide to make the payment in advance they will prioritized my delivery of Ubislate7+ in April 2012, along with free shipping. The payment was made through my cheque no. 325827 dt. 15-Mar-2012 amount Rs.2999, drawn on HFDC bank which was cashed by them during last week of March 2012. Payment has been acknowledged by them by email. Till end of April 2012 I did not get the product and emailed them and they differed delivery date to 31st May 2012. But its 16th June 2012 as I write this, I did not get the product till now. They have stopped replying to my emails, online enquiry/complaint. They do not answer or pick up helpline number 1800 180 2180.

I booked ubislate7+ in a month of april my booking id pmd5d78 and paid advance of rs 3000/- by cheque of sndycate bank mumbai branch cheque cleared on 12/04/12 cheque 725731 i got confirmatiom e-mail from datawind and date of delivery end july and than end of august and now september i spend lot of money to check emails from datawind innovation pvt ltd and lots of time to send mails to the company there is any legal action to be taken

They have stopped replying to my emails, online enquiry/complaint. They do not answer or pick up helpline number 1800 180 2180. But now i dont want this product i want my money back to my account Rs2999.
