I, Ram D Tarachandani, am a regular purchaser of Lemon Mobiles. I am in the business of property valuations. I buy the mobile handsets for my team so that we can be in touch of each other. I am purchasing Lemon mobiles since more than 2 years. I have till date purchase minimum 8-9 handsets of Lemon mobile co. about 3 months ago I had purchases 2 Lemon handsets (Both Model no.Lemon Duo 215) from one of my relatives, who is a small time dealer. He had purchased it from Trade Touch, Ulhasnagar-3 (M-9822415756/9867078541) on 16/09/2010 vide Invoice no.4872 in the name of Baba Hardev Communication, Ulhasnagar-1. M/s. Baba Hardev Communication had purchased in September-2010 but being owner & my relative I purchased these 2 moblies in May-2011 from him. The 2 mobiles have IMEI nos. as 357326030607913/07918; 357326030607966/079991. One of thses mobiles (IMEI no. as 357326030607913/07918) started showing No Sim signs on both sim slots in 1st week of September-2011. It was within limit of the one year warranty (Bill invoice shows date of 16/09/2011). I approached service centre of Lemon mobiles on 07/09/2011 at Kalyan (W) named THE SKYLARK ASSOCIATES, Shop No.4, Suha Apartment, Murbad Road, Syndicate, Kalyan (W)-421 301, District-Thane. My mobile reparing Job sheet shows Incoice No.1051, dated 07/09/2011 with customer name as Raju (my associate). During submission we were tild that IMEI no. on the mobile is wrong & they have to confirm it from the company. We were told to contact after 2-3 days. We made several attempts at the shop regarding status of the moblie. Each time my person was told to contact after 2 days time. After 15 days time my person was told that the handset is not repareable & will be needed to send to Delhi at company. They told that it will take minimum 15-20 days from Delhi to get it repaired. I told my person to get back the handset because already one of my person was without mobile & it was diificult to contact him for our work related matters. My preciuos time was lost during thses 15 days. In the meantime the worker (Mr. Avinash-9209777812) at service centre has lost battery of the handset. He has promised to get new battery for his negligence but till today I am yet to get back battery of my handset. On 01/10/2011 I showed the handset to one of mobile repairing centre at Ulhasnagar. After cross examining the handset what the mobile repairer told me has shocked me. He told that whole hadset was short circuited while trying to repair at the service centre. It's one of the screws was also missing & its battery was Auto On when connected to power. He returned the hand set saying it was beyond repair & all parts are short circuited. I have lost mobile without much using it & will not try to buy Lemon mobiles in future also. I have lost the faith in Lemon co. due to this incident. Many of us must be suffering due to this type of service proividers. If Lemon co. do not have qualified technicians then why they open this type of service centres. This is the second incident with me of same service centre. Earlier my another moblie (Lemnon trio) had torch problem in June-11 & after many a visits to this service centre. Every time they told that company has not delivered them the required part. I am forced to use Lemon trio handset without torch and validity of that moblie also expired in & also expired on 9th of september. In this complaint I have made all facts very clear without hiding anything. I have written complaint thinking of all other customers who do not lodge any complaints thing no actioin will be take. But I believe that consumer court like your's take all necessary actions for safeguards of consumers. Hence I would like you to take necessary action against Lemon Mobile company so that they should find out customer harassments at their service centres.
Till date Service Center at Kalyan (W) has not bothered to contact me & not even has returned back battery of the mobile.
We expect a better service from all mobile companies.
