Unhappy Replacement of new defected samsung galaxy R I9103

I had ordered a mobile phone, model Samsung galaxy R gti9103 worth Rs 19,028 from an online retailer website sulekha .com on 4th Jan 2012(IMEI 358421/04/153440/1).
    I received it on 7th Jan 2011.
When I tried to switch it on, even after many attempts, it did not work. The screen was totally blank. I went to the Samsung service center and when they tried, the phone was itself working properly. After that again I faced the same problem in two days. The phone’s display goes off every now and then. The phone keeps working but there is no display on the screen, like if we try to call on that number then I hear the ring tone but there is no display or light in the screen.
I tried to change the sim , reset the phone but it did not work. This problem occurs sometimes and that’s the reason when on the 1st day I took it to the service center it started working itself.

For getting my defected phone replaced I asked the Samsung service center for the DOA(Dead On Arrival) certificate but they denied to give it saying that Samsung only gives DOA within four days from the date of bill. They said that the lcd display of this phone is faulty and they can only replace it with a new display. But I don’t want to get it repaired.

Samsung service center has given to me in written that I had come to them with the complaint on the very 1st day when I received this phone, making it clear that the phone was already defected.

I am really disappointed with the company. They have harassed me mentally and physically. Even after many visits, calls and mails to Samsung I haven’t received any positive reply from their end.
I had saved my 2 month’s salary for buying this phone but I am so much depressed with this defected phone and with the ignorance of the company towards me. I have spent much money on the phone, in paying visits to the service centers, in making calls etc. but to no effect till now.

Please do the needful and help me in getting my handset replaced with a new one or let the company reimburse me with the money I paid for the phone. The company should also pay the miscellaneous charges I had to bear in this whole process.
I would highly appreciate your help.
PFA the scanned copy of the phone bill and samsung service center statement.

The issue was resolved by Samsung with little involvement of sulekha.

Even I bought a samsung galaxy R in the month of january from Flipkart.com.
From day 1 the phone has been giving me issues. It started off with normal switch off first.. and then became unresponsive and then started giving me problems even with the signal reception.
I continued using it inspite all this because of my hectic schedule... used to take off the battery and place it back again. Day before yesterday, the phone completely froze. I am even unable to turn it on. I went to the service center today and they asked me to get the bill. I am going again tomorrow. I dont even mind paying extra bucks and getting it replaced with s2. But spending 21k on this phone and facing these problems is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS. I am just hopeful of something positive tomorrow (Considering that even my friends bought this phone and have got it replaced). Lets just wait and watch.
