Hi,

I had purchased Nokia C2-02 along with the scratch guard for it on 17th September 2011 from NOKIA DEALER (G. D. collections’), in vishrantwadi Pune. For about 2 months it worked fine, but after some time it "SWITCHED OFF" automatically. I first thought it happened due to low battery, but during charging also it didn’t Switched On.

I went to the Nokia Service Center (located in F.C. Road, Pune) on 26th November and told them my problem, they said **software problem and have to update the software. I said OK, do it and fix the problem.

I called up the Nokia Care after few hours to check if my mobile is ready for delivery or not, then he said that your mobile is sent to the company as they were not able to fix the problem with software update and it will take 1-2 weeks, again I said OK.

Last week, I got a call from Nokia care that my handset couldn’t be repaired so the company has sent a new handset as a replacement.

I went up there to collect my handset, however they gave me a unpacked handset (without battery & backside cover). I said, I have all the accessories with me (which I got with my old handset like battery, earphone) and can return them back to you right away so please give me a packed box with the scratch guard as I had given you my hand set with scratch guard and if your handset is DEFECTED then company has to bear it why should I?

I showed both the original bills of hand set and scratch guard to them, however they keep saying that they can’t help me with this and you have to accept the hand set which company has sent.

I asked them to give me some proof that this replacement device is the new one and have not been used earlier. No reasonable answer which could assure me that this is the new device. We had some arguments for some time but they didn’t do anything and I had to take that handset only.

Please help me in getting a new handset with scratch guard.
