I'm an avid dell user and I bought a dell streak on May 2011, Very recently in December I dropped the phone, but the impact of the fall wasn't, my phone kept working but there was a yellow line that appeared on the corner of my screen, the phone worked well for few hours then suddenly it went all black, I'm pretty sure its something to do with the LCD of the phone so I went to dell Chandigarh but they asked me for 10000 rupees and said they'll replace the handset, I believe the cell is still under warranty and by no chance it should break with such a minor impact, else there should be a warning on the box/manual to handle the phone like an egg, instead there are all praises about the much hyped "Gorilla glass", while the LCD being used in tablet is crap. I beleive Dell India has gypped me with this phone, because it still shows that the warranty is void, even though I bought the phone in May 2011. How can it get void in 7 months when the warranty is valid is for full 12 months, and dell should provide better service considering their mobiles/tablets complaint helpline - 1800-425-4050 is always busy and hardly provide any assistance. I hope someone is able to help me here.
