I bought an LG Optimus net p690 handset. In 3 days' time, it started to have weird issues, like autoredialling after receving calls, pictures not getting saved, not catching network, etc etc. Went to the shop that had sold it to me - it was UniverCell's branch in Purushaivaikkom, Chennai. Requested replacement of handset: they asked to contact LG service center and that if the service centre confirms it is hardware issue, they will replace the set. Went to LG service center; they said it is a board issue and they need to replace board. So went back to UniverCell showroom asking for replacement. They changed their word and said I can submit the phone; and they will check and see if it can be repaired or not. Submitted the phone. It has been 3 weeks. Called up UniverCell Customer care (a girl called Kavitha) at least 20 times in the last 15 days asking for progress and whether the set will be replaced or not. They have been asking for more days each time and now have stopped even answering the phone!! So, basically, I am down 10,000 bucks and no handset and it has been over a month now!!
