Dear Sir, I had purchased Micromax's handset model no. GC 350 on 23.07.2011 from Ranchi dealer located in Hariom Tower. They said that accessories (like battery, earphone etc.) will have a warranty for 6 months. After purchase, I was getting many problems while using this mobile like network problem, bad battery back up, auto switch off etc. For battery one of the micromax service center located in Ranchi is saying that battery cannot be changed as it is swollen. My contention is that how can the battery of a brand new handset get swollen within 3-4 months of usage. Definately it is a material / product defect which is covered under warranty. But service center personnel as well as micromax customer executive are saying that the swollen batteries are not covered under warranty although it is nowhere mentioned in the warranty terms and conditions also. Please suggest / help me or take necessary action against such types of bad deeds done by the companies to their consumers. Thanks in advance
