I bought a new HTC Desire S on 10th May 2011, It had many small problems like heating up etc!
On 23rd July 2011, the phone refused to start, I took it to HTC
authorized service center (Saloora, Dadar, Mumbai) on the same day & they accepted the device & after checking it they said that their is problem in screen & touch along with boot failure & they will repair & give me back!

After 7 days of hustling they called me up saying that the phone has been repaired & told me to collect it.
I went & checked the device thoroughly but after 1 hour of collecting my device the same problem occured & i said the service center people that i don't want this defective device which is a manufacturing defect back & replace me with new handset, they refused to accept it & said that i have to speak with their toll free number (18001033566) & they will let me know the procedure!

After 2 days of arguing with the people in (18001033566) they agreed to replace my device & said that that it will take 12 -13 days maximum!
But they replaced it on 26Th Aug 2011 (28 days later) with a scratch on the display (Even though they say its scratch resistant screen) & insisted that i take this device, I said that i need a device which is in goods condition & not this scratched device, so they agreed to give me a new device!
Finally I got the device delivered on 2nd Sep 2011 & after checking the device I took the delivery!

Last Night (20Th Oct 2011) I kept the phone & when today morning I tried to start it, i refused to start & I Didn't even Boot!


The Phone is not even 2 months old & the problem has occurred!
I am utterly disappointed with the build quality of the phone as the service center people have said that all the existing user data will be erased again & I have already lost a lot of data when the problem occurred 1st time...


The device has been submitted in HTC service center (Saloora, Dadar, Mumbai) today at 1.00 pm!
The service center didn't even provide me with a standby device saying that they have no stock, which is ridiculous!!

I don't want the device to be repaired or tampered with in anyway, if the piece has to be replace again i don't want it as it might get the same problem after 2 or 3 months!

I am also afraid that this people will not help me once the warranty gets void & I will have to suffer!
I want my money back that i spend on this device!

I also believe its was a big mistake from my side to choose HTC & spend 24000 INR in this piece of trash.

Please advice me the steps that I can take to sue this HTC people & also get my hard earned money back!
