I have bought LG mobile model;BL40 No;356547032082786 on 23-5-2010 at Chennai. Within warranty period of one year itself,the touch screen had to be replaced twice by the LG service provider in Tambaram, Chennai free of charge. Just after expiry of warranty period, again touch function is not working. As per authorized LG service provider, the cost for replacing touch is about Rs 4500 and the warranty for touch is only 3 months. I had spent about Rs.20000 for buying this handset. Now again I need to spend another Rs 4500 and after 3 months again I need to spend another Rs 4500. Like wise I need to spend Rs 4500 once in every 3 months for keeping alive the mobile BL 40. For buying LG product, the customer is being punished like this by LG, the reputed company claims Life is Good if you have LG products. Is it fare on LG? I had written several time to LG customer care for replacing the faulty hand set. Some one did call me, but he is not replacing the faulty piece. The consumer court is requested to intervene and help me so that LG replace my faulty handset LG 40.
