Reliance Digital---THE MOST SHAMEFUL ISSUE: FORGERY WITH CUSTOMER I have purchased a brand new Handset Sony Ericsson Walkman series model W350 on 30th JUNE 2009 from RELIANCE DIGITAL SHIPRA MALL INDIRAPURAM GHAZIABAD. It was workin fine till 21st JULY 2009. But suudenly it was unable to detect SIM CARD. I submitted my phone to them on 22 nd JULY 2009 as they take this responsibility. They gave me 1 week time to take it back. When i went to them on 1st AUGUST 2009, they told me SONY ERICSSON is unable to repair it. As its MOTHERBOARD is already repaired before, so many times.
When i asked Reliance Digital how come its possible I have purchased it from you. They have been blaming us that we took it to some local service centre and did this. But why will we do that,to mentally harass ourself??? And if i am getting 1 yr warranty for free, why i ll use a paid service outside? THEY DONT HAVE ANYANSWER !!!
They sent their two emloyees with us to nearby SONY SERVICE Centre ( Sec-18 Noida(U.P) ) where SONY ENGINEERS proved things. After harassing us every day finally they agreed that its there mistake ....On 10th of August they have given us replacement of my Phone.
But i want to take some legal action against them for such a long MENTAL HARASSMENT. I have all the required documents with me.
What should i do???

Can You pls. provide us the information regarding which kind of documents you have with you to prove your point in consumer forum. Also we request you provide us the IMEI Number of your handset.

Service and damaged product Dear Sir/Madam,
I have purchased LG 320 Ltrs fridge from reliance digitial hydearbd A.S.Roa Nagar.
They have promised to deliver the fridge next day I said as we are going out in the morning please deliver at evening, in the mornining when we were about to leave they called and said they are delivering the fridge we have to cancel our program and wait for them.
Again they said the we are not supposed to open the cover the techinical person will come and open. The person said he will come next day at 12.00 noon I have to wait for him in. at 2.00 P.M they call and said their techinical person is busy he will come only aroung 5.00 P.M.
he came and opened and saw that the fridge is damaged, he says it will be replaced in next 2 days, when asked we need it immediately he said it is possible now next day only and again said he will come by 12.00 noon and they delivered at 2.30 one more fidge and again the same story it was damaged piece. Again they are saying it will be replace next day.
I have wait for two days without going to office for them and response with them so bad and very rude manner. when asked for re-fund they say it not our company policy to re-fund and they say we are replcing the fridge you have to wait.
please suggest how to handle such people and is there any way we can stop so that in future they will learn good lessons and next cusotmer will not be harresed like this.
They have issued a 10 Years warrenty card and which is not valid since this scheme is only valid till 31 Oct 2009 we have purchased on 7 Nov 2009.

Reliance Digital False display of offer Hi,
This complaint is against reliance digital in shipra Mall Ghaziabad, They had displayed a offer of 4GB card and sony carry bag free with any series of Sony camera, but when i intended to purchase the same, they denied and said this offer is not there and this display was due to some error of printing.
I have a photograph of the offer display and still they denied and store manager said "Jo karna hai Kar lo" India mai kuch nahi hota, and misbehaved.

Free gift not given while making payment. no follow up procedure also I've purchased one Nokia N8 along with a pendrive which amounted to Rs.25300. They said that there is a free gift motorola phone for this purchase and included in the invoice. But only when I made the payment they told me that there is no stock of free gift and they will call in couple of days. it is a week since I did the purchase but no one bothered to call or give the free gift.
The invoice number is C5381#0037 dt 31st October. They have mentioned in the invoice that the free gift is due and someone has signed on the same.
If they dont have stock of free gifts, why do they promise free gifts for purchases above some amount.

Reliance digital a circus Reliance assistant managers and service people are award winning performance characters. The offer they state are existing with their own stated conditions. A gift that we are supposed to get at only one purchase at the buying time become a necessity to minimum buy two things... a surprise called the *CONDITIONS APPLY.
Not enough we call them, tell them that we are coming at such and such time to buy such and such product, they agree that the required appliance is available in stock and we are made to waste not just petrol, but also time and we go there, where we realise at the time of payment that the appliances which were present in the stock have suddenly vanished and there are no items in stock at the time of payment.
Very easily the manager Mr Pretesh and Mr Pradeep, state that what can we do, stock is empty and they say it easily sorry and walk away.
This was my experience at Mangalore Reliance Digital which is newly opened.
Start is such... i pity the future.

Reliance ... name should be Un-Reliance I saw this thread after I had visited the Reliance Digital store in Jalandhar today and had a miserable experience. I wanted to purchase a monitor for my computer. Firstly they took about 5 mins for the appropriate person to come and guide me. Then I decided on my purchase - a 18.5" Dell LCD screen. It took another 2 mins to find a guy to take out the screen from stock (which was actually just 2 shelves below the display piece). Finally I went to pay for it. The girl took 5 minutes scanning every bar code on the packet till she found the correct barcode to scan. Then I was shown the product to check it. Another 3 minute wait for a poly bag. It was torn. I asked for another one. Another 2 minutes to find another poly bag. Finally they packed it. Ten guys were just standing around but no one lifted the packet. So I tried to lift it but it was heavy. So I asked if someone could carry it to my car for me. They started calling for a handy boy. Ten guys just stood around while one or the other kept asking for a handy boy. Ultimately fed up, I picked up the packet myself and staggered out of the store. At the door, the guard asks me for my bill. I asked one of the ten guys to come and verify my purchase since my hands were full of this heavy packet. No one came forward. Absolutely unprofessional, disgusting, rude behaviour. No manners, no courtesy, no professionalism. Horrible.

Demo pending for Food Processor and Coffee Maker I have purchased Inalsa Food Processor and a Coffee Maker from Reliance Digital Store (Shipra Mall-Indrampuram) and at the time of purchase they said that they can organize demo wherever i want. But its almost more than 2 months nobody has come neither called me up. I continously keep on calling them but still there is no positive response from there side.
I am really fed up with them and want some Top Management to look into this

Cheating by Reliance Digital I had bought Blackberry curve 8900 from Reliance digital Vashi as on dt 31st Mar 2011 @ Rs 9495/- .
From the date of purchase I am feeling cheated as it’s not working from date of buying to till date, case history is as following:
1 At the time, sales person has shown me all the accessories with box and told this phone will not start this time as it is battery is not charged and we are closing for the day. Simultaneously ensured that It’s very good piece and will work properly after charging.
2 Same day I charged it at home and tried to operate the phone but it was not working.
3 Next day I visited to store for showing the problem, where sales person refused me to replace the piece along with advice to visit Blackberry service station only to get repaired.
4 I went to Blackberry service centre-Varad Electronics where prime facie I was advised to get replacement from buying store only as it was new piece problem.
5 After telling the matter, It took the complaint of battery which would be replaced by company in coming 10-15 days and asked the another zerox copy of bill as zerox was not clear due to light print of bill. After request he registered the replacement (Job no 7 dt 01 Apr 2011)(and asked to produce at the time of replacement or via scanned copy.
6 In between I tried to a lot call the given numbers of service centre but nobody attend the call as guy over there had asked to inquire within week for status.
Till date problem has not been resolved and feeling cheated after buying from Reliance Digital this BLACKBERRY.

Diwali surprise from Reliance Digital On 20/10/2011 I have purchased a 300 Ltr Refrigerator from Reliance digital, Ambience mall, Gurgaon in exchange of my old refrigerator. The product was supposed to be delivered on the next day. The guys from Reliance came around 1 p.m and I handed my old refrigerator to them and then they asked about the 2nd refrigerator. They showed me one paper where it was written that they will be collecting 2 refrigerators from my address (why the hell a middle class Indian will have two refrigerators at home). But when I told them I have only one piece which needs to be exchanged they left the refrigerator outside my door and went near their vehicle where the new refrigerator was there. I have been waiting for them but they left without informing me.
When we called the store repeatedly I came to know that I have been charged less (exchange of two refrigerator price was deducted from my bill), so I have to pay one thousand Rs to get the new refrigerator. Due to your billing issue I had to suffer.
On 21/10/2011 someone visited and collected the differential amount with a promise to deliver the refrigerator. Though we had plans for Diwali shopping we waited till afternoon and finally it was delivered on 22/10/2011 around 1 p.m. Again we had to wait for the installation guy till evening and finally he arrived at 6 o’clock. And to our utter surprise the refrigerator had a big dent. He packed it and left with a note not to worry as the refrigerator will be replaced. It seems my diwali shopping has to wait one more year as my weekend prior to Diwali is dedicated to Reliance digital, with my decision to buy a refrigerator.

NOkia500 I had Purchased Nokia 500 from reliance digital Hubli on 16th Oct 2011 but after 2 days i started giving me a problem as it would re start often and gets heated too. so i went back to the stores for futher assistance they said me to go to Nokia care for technical faults as i did that also. Even after that the problem was their today after nearly 20 days dated 12/11/11 when i approched the stores they tell me that then need more time to rectify the problem and they are not ready to replace the hand set. can any one pls help me on this as the store manager also behaves very rude when ever we approche him we need to wait hours to see him. If he meets us also he says same thing as to wait for still 2 days .
