I Sambhav Agarwal, Seeking a favor from you.
I have a Samsung handset e690 brought in 2007,
Sir, wen purchased the handset was having some problem with the sound so i
had given it to samsung service center BTM layout Bangalore.
they rectified the problem by upgrading the software of the mobile from L1
to L2.
But while doing that the IMEI number of my handset was erased by them and
now its showing 00000
The handset was working absolutely fine till date, but since the new TRAI
rule the handset without the IMEI number will be barred. and hence the
handset is barred from the service provider.
I had given the working handset to Samsung Service centre Sector 31
Gurgaon Haryana on 8th July for the IMEI writing, with work order number
55020090713012, after many follow ups i was told that the handset is
liquid logged and IMEI cannot be written and the handset is dead now.
I am not understanding when a working handset is being given to the
service center for mere IMEI writing how can it be dead,
Please see to this matter and guide me for further procedure.
