    Dear Sir,



    This is Venu Gopal, and I am using Sony Ericsson W580i mobile for the last
    one and half years. On 16/07/2009, because of rain, the mobile's display
    has got affected, but I will be able to call and receive the call, only
    thing is that I can't see the display. So, I approached the service centre,
    they told me that the display part has got affected and need to replace
    that. But, unfortunately, they don't have stock at that moment. And, as
    everyone aware, it is more than a year since I am using the mobile, so it is
    not in warranty, and replacing the display part can be done at outside also
    as it is a very easy procedure.



    The service centre informed me that for another 7-10 days also the stock for
    the display may not come as they are facing lack of stock.



    So, I approached to the technician in my area, who has got certificate in
    mobile servicing. I asked him twice that whether he know how to replace
    this particular mobile's display, and he said that he knows. With the
    confidence that it is a very easy procedure to replace the display and there
    is no stock for another 7-10 days in service centre, I handed over my mobile
    to that technician and collected the acknowledgement.



    He made me wait for almost 1 week, so I got doubt and asked him to give me
    mobile back with the same condition what I have given(where I can call and
    receive call, but I can't see the display).



    But, when I got the mobile in my hand, the physical condition of the mobile
    itself is not good. It is a sliding mobile, there is much gap in the
    slides, so I have got doubt and gave him back to resolve the gap. He took
    another two days, still the problem is same.



    He didn't resolve the display problem, but he made new problem of the gap
    between the slides as I can see physically. So, I made an argument with
    that technician, and with the help of mediators, we came to an agreement
    that we will go to Sony's service centre, and whatever the charges the
    technician will pay because he mishandled the mobile made another problem.



    We have gone to service centre, there they declared that mobile has been
    tampered and with that tamper the board got shock, and the mobile has been
    dead.



    So, he failed to resolve the problem and he made the mobile to die instead.
    Now, as he didn't resolve the problem but made the mobile to die, as a
    customer, I have got 100% rights to get a new mobile from him. But,
    liberally, we came to an agreement on 24/07/2009, that he will replace
    another second hand mobile of same model which is in working condition as he
    failed to resolve the problem but killed the mobile instead.



    And, he asked me two days time to do so, which is today.



    When I go and asked today for the same, they have abused me and tried to
    threaten me and told me that they are not going to do either replace or do
    any compensation for my mobile.



    So, I wanted to proceed legally through consumer court.



    Please give the suggestions on this and guide me how to proceed legally on
    this.

    help me sir or mem mujhe mobail phone or reliance gsm mai bahut problam ho
    rahi hai phone kaam nai kar raha jab ki mai PHONE KO samsung sarvis centar
    mai dikha chuka hu to wo bol rahe hai ki aap ko bill pay karna padega jab ki
    mera mobail warrnty mai hai B 210 SAMSUNG 2000RS KA LIYA THA 4 MONTH PAHLE
    FM NAI CHALTA OR NA HI NETWORK AATE HAI BETTRY 1 HR MAI KHATAM HO JAATI HAI

    My self Naishadh Parmar from Ahmedabad

    I have purchased Sony Ericsson W580i model from Nextag - fatehgunj Vadodara on
    01/11/08. After 7 Month using (on Aug.25,09) I face Speaker Voice, Phone hang
    Problem. also some time Sim not ready message show.

    Due to this problem i go to sony Ericsson serivce centre at Maninagar, they open
    the&nb sp;phone & then they say they cound not repair this mobile for problem
    solving they suggest to go C.G.&a mp;nb sp;Road serivce centre. So i take my mobile
    to C.G. road service centre. they check my mobile I wait there aroundabe 02 Hours &
    then reply me mobile required to put at Serive centre for 03 days. So i put this
    mobile & then after 03 days i collect this mobile from serivce centre & check all
    Problem solved. (Sony Serive report No. : SE30904011609) ( Whre is Customer
    statification)

    After some time i face hang problem & I planning to go service centre, but i have
    weekly off in m y job is wednesday. So i wait for 2 days meanwhile before 2 days at
    night when i saw my mobile it is automatically off. I try to start it But it is not
    start.

    Today I go to C.G. road serivce centre they open the phone & say due to water
    touching in P.C.B. this mobile off. & if i want to repair it charges is 75 % of
    Purhcase value.

    I purhcase th is mobile in 9550 Rs. So 75 % is 7162 Rs.

    When i say to at reception i want to meet your techincal person.Th ey say me it is
    not allowed to meet techincal person (Whre is Customer statification)

    I also say them i want to contact at customer care please call him from here, bur
    they are not give him three Phone for contact customer care toll free No.(Whre is
    Customer statification)

    can you think it is possible i pay 7162 Rs. for this mobile, which i use only 10
    month & in this 10 month i face so may problem from this mobile.

    From my refrence my 2 -3 friends are using Sony Mobile. & nbsp;If i share this
    situation which i face from sony what they think. You also think. (Whre is Customer
    statification)

    I come at my home & contact to cusotmer care No & talk with Mr. Mohit , he discuss
    all the matter with me & then he say you go to Serivce centre & call me from
    there.(Whre is Customer statification)

    From my heart i want&n bsp;to say earlier me & my family member use Nokia Mobile but
    never we face this type of lot of problem.

    I tired from&a mp;nb sp;sony Ersicsson Mobile. I want to give you this mobile to you
    as a gift, because whenver i see this mobile i don't contorl on my self & i hat this
    mobile.
    Can you clear this matter as soon as possible. I pass my 1/2 an hour to write this
    mail.
    i pass my so many time for this mobile.
    Think about Customer satfication.
    I also like to hear from you.

    Default would like to buy a Soni Ericsson 580i?

    hi, if you are a person who change your mobile every year then buy Soni Ericsson 580i.
    because the next year the display won't work. luckily my display was gone exactly after 11 1/2 month. they changed it free in warranty period. again one year latter, now the display has gone.
    if you are ready to spend 1500 rs every year then go for this one. great model.
