I hope this mail is seen by some senior official of the sony division. I had a sony camera which accepts a memory stick of the long thicker type and not the new produo. I found out that I shall have to use a slimmer stick with an adapter. After many shops I found out that such is available at Sony centre at Lajpat Nagar( not the service centre). I called them up and confirmed the availability of the stock. When I reach there I was treated as shit as i was not buying any expensive item Ultimately Mr Surinder shows us the slimmer memory stick and the adapter along with it( 850 Rs + 500Rs). We decide to buy it. We told that we shall be paying through a credit card. He said that he shall accept the money towards the payment of the memory stick by a credit card but for the adapter we shall have to give cash for which he shall not give us a bill too. We asked the rationale behind it .he was not willing to explain . He was then joined by Mr Vikram who sits at the main cash counter. They both were working in collaboration and supporting each other. When we demanded a bill for the adapter they said now they have no adapter with them to sell to us . We can go to some other shop. My theory is that these adapters used tocome free with the slimmer versions and they are selling those free stocks without showing in their registors. We were spken to very rudely and shown the door and challenged thatwe can go and complain to anybody we like. Such is the quality of salesmen that Sony is employing. In the next street of Lajpat Nagar I bought the same stick with adapter of Sony company for a total of 950Rs.
