Consumer Court. I bought Samsung GT-S5233A on 24th May. Serial No. RW4S518883L. The story started on 30th May when I first visited the authorized Samsung Mobile Service Center in Laxmi Nagar MDR services. I explained them I have a problem with my phone, randomly the other person cannot hear my voice but when I use it with Bluetooth or the supplied headset I can talk without a problem. They took the phone and formatted the phone. After the phone was formatted one fine day I started facing the problem and it kept coming and also I realized that whenever I used to get a message the other person cannot hear me. I took the phone again to the service center and I spent 45 minutes there and I was told that MIC has been changed and I should not face a problem again. Then After a week I had the same problem and went to Laxmi Nagar MDR Service Center and they said either you take it to out main center at Nehru Place or we will take 18-20 days. Then I took it to Nehru Place center on 27-06-2009 and when I got there I was told that there is nothing done to my phone it was never opened and they couldn’t find anything in records too. That is the point where I got frustrated. Then I got to meet Nishant who is the senior engineer or manager. I spoke to him for approximately 30 minutes and assured me that my phone will be fixed. I believed him. Also he spoke to the engineer who initially claimed that he changed the MIC of my phone. The Engineer from MDR services lied on his face and he said that we changed the MIC but the engineer in Nehru Place said he didn’t and the phone was never opened. Also Nishant told that if the phone would have brought to their notice on the first week of purchase then the phone could have been replaced with a new one. Now because of the support people at MDR service center I had to face the trouble and they were so irresponsible that they didn’t even log the calls of my visit and because of that I am facing issues. Required Relief Either I want an upgrade of the phone or full refund of my money.
