I have purchased Nokia mobile handset in March 2011. Once while talking, smoke came out of it and the set became very hot. After that the mobile stopped working. I went to Nokia service centre in Indira Nagar, CMH road. They refused to repare siting the reason that it has liquid damage. I aske them if they found any liquid inside, they told no but some whitish mark was there inside the phone. How could they say it is liquid damage. The whitis mark may be due to various reasons.

Secondly, if it is damaged due to liquid, then how i was able to talk that leads to smoking.

Third, If the device is dipped in any liquid, it will stop working immediately. To this they are telling that the damage may be due to moisture. This is very disgusting. How could i prevent moisture in the air before talking. If moisture in air can cause a mobile phone to get burn that may lead to severe damage to some one even danger to life, then they shouldn't reasease such product.

I comaplined this to the Nokia custome care. They took about 15 days to say they can't do anything.

Now i want to compplain in consumer court in Bangalore.
