I would like to inform you that I had bought a Nokia mobile phone Model : 5800
Xpress Music( IMEI No. 354182025625623) from Mobile Store, Shop No: G 001, Gorund
Floor Saltlake Kolkata - 64 on 10.02.2009 vide Invoice No: WB /01192/00001/3451 for
Rs. 19399.03.

On April the above mentioned Phone's Memory Card got corrupted and I had to visit
Nokia Customer Care for repair. They replaced my Memory Card with a new one after 7
days. On enquiring if the problems persists the senior Engineer Mr. Babon Kundu
(Contact No: 09903433854) assured me that it shall be replaced again.

On 24.06.2009 again the same problem arose i.e, corruption of memory card along with
new additional problems with Phone. As it is a touch pad phone, sometimes it is
unable to take the touch commands. I visited the Nokia Care at Sector -5 Saltlake
Kolkata, but now they are saying that nothing can be done as the memory card has a
warranty. Moreover they are telling me to keep the phone for 15 days for the repair.

Moreover they are saying that they shall not give me a back up support of my phone's
Contact details or the SMS's. I humbly submitt to you that my mobile phone consits
phone nos and messages of many dignitaries in Kolkata, namely the Commissioner of
Police Mr. Gautam Chakraborti, political leaders and other Railway Officials.

I am into Railway Civil Construction business and i having serious problems
contacting and communicating my staff.

I am being harassed and I feel cheated after investing around Rs. 19,400/-..

Moreover i had to travell more than 5 K.M to the work shop and stay for a long time
which not only hampering my business but it is also a mental tension for me.

You are not new I am facing the too many problems with same handset. I bought a Nokia 5320 Xpress Music mobile phone from this shop on 29.04.2009. The battery talk time and standby time is not upto the mark and I can not set up internet connection for BSNL services. Though they say, there is replacement warranty, I need to be refunded after surrender of the phone for the following reasons. 1. I bought the same model mobile from this dealer couple of weeks back. After I complained about the battery, they have changed them and I found there is problem in the mobile and they replaced with this mobile. So I have lost my patience 2. They changed the battery of this mobile a month back. Again the battery is problem 3. The genuine status of the dealer and the product are suspicious. Too much of stress because of this problem. The consumer acts enable the consumer to get the genuine product with genuine services and if there are disputes the consumer can approach the forum to resolve their grievances.

I would like to claim the amount of Rs.11, 200 (eleven thousand two hundred only) for the product I paid plus Rs.1, 200 for travelling and Rs.2, 000 (two thousand only) for the mental agony. The claim is a total amount of Rs.14, 4000. (Rupees fourteen thousand four hundred only)
