Hi,
My name is Zohaib Raza. Recently I purchased a Nokia 5230 handset from Nokia Priority Dealer. The handset proves to be a useless device as the battery backup on the device is only 5 hours even if it is not in use. When using the phone continuously for listening to music using standard headsets the battery discharges in 3 hours. I called the Nokia Tech Support on 24 April 2011 Sunday and they refused to return/exchange the product without going through the repair process. I originally purchased the phone on 02 April 2011 Saturday.

I want to file the case in the consumer court of India for the following concerns:

1. The phone is not a reliable product, overheating is a safety hazard condition.
2. The resolution provided by the Technical Support is not satisfactory wherein I am required to submit the phone for about 10-12 days at the Nokia Care Center and I will be provided with a stand by handset.

Thanks and Regards

Zohaib Raza
