ON 4th feb 2011 i bought a mobile handset Of "MICROMAX" model number x111 whose IME number is 910047401896469 worth rupees 1300/- in cash from a local mobile selling shop with a proper bill of the purchase. After a day when i tried to charge my mobile for the first time, the charger broke down. The shopkeeper replaced the charger and gave me a new one. After that when i tried to charge my mobile again the mobile turned off automatically. The shopkeeper refused to help this time and asked me to go to MICROMAX authorised service station. I went to the service station whose name,address & contact number is "S.K ENTERPRISES 2157/A, GURU ARJAN NAGAR SARTHAK BUILDING NEAR SATYAM CINEPLEX & SHADIPUR METRO STATION NEW DELHI 110008, & ph. no. 011-65849050". The executives at the service station directly refused to repair the handset and told me that the phone has already been repaired from an unauthorised person. I told them that i bought the handset just 2 days back and it stopped working completely and i came directly to them, they started fighting and also abused me and when i asked them to replace or repair my handset then they issued me a customer job card numbered "1452038" stating that " THE IC OF THE HANDSET IS BURNT AND ITS NOT CONSIDERED UNDER WARRANTY CONDITION" whereas its nowhere written that if the handset "BURNS" then it'l not be repaired. If the handset would have been blasted then who would have taken the responsibility. Moreover how can any part of a new product can "BURN" like this. It should have been tested before. The "BURNING" could have been fatal. Its a SCARE TO HUMAN'S LIFE. I would like you to take proper action against the concerned company that either they should replace the handset with a new handset or repair it or pay back the money,because "BURNING" of any handset like this can be a danger to human's life.
