i had purchased a nokia n8 in nov 2010
the imei number is 352684045468357.
on december 1 the handset went blank on display and was subsequntly sent to a nokia care centre namely "crazy infotech, 83 golaghat road, vip tower, kolkata 700048. with job sheet nuimber 291504886/101202/28
the center said that they had replaced the lcd and returned the hanset on 4 th dec 2010.
the nokia care center staff were very rude and didnt install ovi store ovi maps and other software,supposed to be there in the phone, asking me to do it myself. the phoen was brought back, and in a days time it algain malfunctioned with the screen going blank and the handset again sent to the same nokia care unit on 7 th december 2010.
on 9 th dec 2010 the nokia care personnel called me up stating that the set will be sent to the nokia factory for repairing and will take maximum 7 days,
i was given a new job sheet num which was 291504886/101209/7
its 3rd jan , and i have not yet received my nokia phone yet. the phone has nt been repaired or replaced , as it si supposed to be done. i have caled the noki care many times and the nokia all india customer care number over 5 times and each time i was told that the phone was either in processing or has been despatched.
the last time i had called nokia all india service center i was told that they have registerd a complain from my side and was given a complain number which was 1-11381371911, also i was promised that i will surely get a call back from nokia within 48 hours. its over 72 working hours passed since that call and there has been no comunication from the nokia side. its disgusting from the side of nokia . i want my nokia n8 set replaced immediately. or i might of think of suing nokia india in court
