    Dear Sir,
    I've purchased Karbonn KC750 mobile on 5th Nov, 2010...Faced so many problems...service centre people themselves are saying not to go for these chinese mobiles like Karbonn, Maxx, Lava etc.. because they are all defective and have lot of problems that they can't rectify...They say that they are helpless in this regard... and the customer has to bear it forcibly. I tried to contact the Karbonn people but, the feedback form in their website is not working. Even the email id provided on the box (support@karbonnmobiles.com) is also not working...the mails are bouncing back...

    I am giving the content of my email below which I tried to send them for your reference...Please go through and do the needful to get my money back...thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    I've purchased Karbonn KC750 dual sim (GSM+CDMA) feature rich mobile on 5th November, 2010 through online shopping of futurebazaar. The mobile is having lots of features which are practically not usable because of lot of problems with the mobile handset. I've approached the service centre people on 20th November with a complaint of VERY POOR BATTERY BACKUP. They kept the handset for 2hrs and told me that it was rectified...but, actually, the problem remained the same...I've again approached them on 26th November with the same complaint and told them that while charging it is displaying a message "bad contact of charger". They told me that it is having a board problem and told me that they'll send it to the company for board replacement.

    After 20 days I've collected the handset from them...they told me that the board got replaced and the problem got rectified...When I checked the handset the IMEI number remained the same...I asked them for clarification regarding this...they told me that for some handsets IMEI number will not be changed even after replacing the board...I didn't believe their words because I know that IMEI number is a unique number which will be different from board to board...I had no other option but to believe them. But, when I started using it I was shocked to know that the battery backup got even worse than before...If I charge it in the night for 4hrs completely by 11'o clock in the morning it is getting discharged completely without using it at all...moreover, it is again displaying the same message "bad contact of charger" occassionally. Previously, it used to give atleast 40min. talktime over a period of 12-16hrs when used only for making and receiving calls and without using any of the other features...including vibration,F.M,camera,mp3 player, video player, bluetooth etc.. not even keypad tones...but, now, it is practically useless.

    When I again approached the service centre people on 17th December, they told me to keep the handset for observation...I kept it with them for one day and today i.e on 18th December they told me that it is still having problem with the board and battery and also told me to leave the handset for 20 more days so that they can replace the board and the battery...but, they are not at all sure that it'll rectify the problem...They also told me that they can give a D.O.A letter if I want for a replacement of handset...and again at the same time they told me that it is not possible because I bought it online...and I have to bear it forcibly. I asked them for a money refund but, they say that they are not authorised to do this.

    Moreover, they are suggesting customers not to buy these chinese mobiles like yours (Karbonn, Maxx, Lava etc.) and asking them to go for branded mobiles...If this gets continued who'll dare to buy your mobiles??? I am really shocked to here this from so called technicians of your authorised service centre. I can name two of them one is Mr.Prasad and the other is Mr.Rama Rao...You please investigate and do the needful.


    Now, my humble request to you is that please process a refund of money for me because I am not sure that even after 20 days the mobile will work fine...I can't go for a D.O.A letter because, I bought it online...and also I've used a GCV(Gift Coupon) for a discount...but, still I forward this issue to 'futurebazaar' people also...So I request you to contact your service centre people and arrange for a refund of money (MRP.of the product or present market price which ever is convenient for you) at the earliest. Please understand my problem and act immediately.

    The handset is with the service centre people at present.

    I am sorry to know that the said product is not functioning. Please accept our humble apology for the same.

    I would like to inform you that as per the return policy you may return items purchased at futurebazaar.com within 15 days of delivery incase the same is found damaged or defective for a refund or replacement.

    As the said product was delivered at your shipping address in the month of November 2010, we will not be able to replace or return the product at our end.

    Further, I confirm that the after sales service of the product is provided by the manufacturing company. You hence need to contact the Brand service center for repairs of the said product. I have also tried contacting you regarding the same however were unable to get in touch with you.

    Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused to you in this regard.
