I'd bought a handset from IndiaTimes.com and now it is giving problem. The handset was sold by Mediatech India Distributors (P) Ltd.

Mediatech Says:

We have checked the details & came to know that your mobile phone is out of warranty, Please find the attached Advertisment for your refrence, It clearely mentiones 6 Months Manufacturer Warranty.

However still if you want to us to help & repair your mobile phone it will be charged Extra.

My Mail:

The advertisement which you've enclosed does mention that the warranty is for 6 months, but the invoice which I'd received alongwith the mobile phone clearly mentions that the handset carries 1 year comprehensive warranty. A copy of the invoise is enclosed for your kind perusal.

Please let me know where should I send my handset for repair/replacement.

As per last mail from Mediatech:

Please be advice that till date we have never sold any mobile phones beyond six month. I can send you all advertisement (whether in times or any other platform) that clearly mentions SIX month warranty. You have purchased mobile phone from Times Platform and you can confirm the warranty terms with them.

I'm really Sorry We will not be supporting warranty beyond our warranty terms.

Even if the advertisement says that it has a warranty of six months, the invoice clearly mentions that Warranty is for 1 year.

Please help
