    Angry Complaint against Sony Ericsson - Service Center - Defect in Mobile - Delay in repair

    Hi Sir/Madam,
    I (Arti S ) purchased a Sony Zylo W20 (IMEI #012383000458014) on 25th July 2010 at Univercell Mobiles ,Saibaba Colony ,Coimbatore.In less than a months time there was a problem with the handset , showing blank display once we slide up the mobile.I had given it to the Service Center - J.M.Electronics - R.S.Puram,Coimbatore on 10th Sept 2010(Work Order# SE 310 AE 114416 ) but still the handset has not been returned to me.They gave us a reply to contact Customer care and raise a complaint as they did not receive the spare parts yet.I raised a complaint with the customer care Complaint#88515937 on 4th Oct.They had told me the status that it is pending for dispatch of spare parts and it would be cleared and I would receive my handset by this weeekend.But now again the Customer care dept has come back with an answer that they still need 5-6 working days to work on the complaint..Its almost a month my mobile is lying at the Service Center.I am not sure whether my handset would be given back to me or not.The Service Center does not take up any responsibility to follow up. They indeed ask us to raise it to Customer care who do not care at all.They just give us a Complaint no.

    Exclamation I Demand a new handset

    Hi, I ( Abhishek Kumbhare ), have purchased sony Aino U10 i on 25/4/2010. ( IMEI 35681503-742995-9).
    within one monthe or so , i was facing the problem of slow operating system and the phone used to hang frequently. As i was out of the country i couldnt give it for repair. As soon as i was back to india in sepetember. i went to the service outlet in khairtabad i got it serviced the same day and the phone was working fine. but unfortunately the same problem occured from the very next day. As the service outlet was far from my place i had to wait untill weekend. I again gave it for repair after couple of weeks and the problem still remained the same. This happend 4 times. i was literally frustrated when they told me that there was a fault in the motherboard and they have to send it for replacement and it will take 15 - 20 days to get it back. I thought i would atleast get a permanent resolution, i gave it for replacement on 21st april 2011. They called me on 2nd may and told me to come and collect it on 3rd. I was happy that i wouldnt have to face any problem now. But for my surprise when i went to service outlet today ( 3rd may ). they sd the replaced mother board is also defective and they will have to send it for replacement again.
    I AM VERY IRRITATED WITH THE SONY ERICSON. i would never ever use sony again. as i have already paid for this phone i am forced to use it. I DEMAND SONY ERICSON TO HAVE THIS RESOLVED IMMEDIATELY OR ISSUE ME A NEW HANDSET.

    Angry faulty handsets provided even after replacements!!!!!!!!!!

    i had purchased sony ericsson spiro on 23/5/11 in mumbai. the next day itself the handset started givin me problems in messaging showin ''out of memory'' after 3 messages in inbox!!
    the music player wasnt working..
    so i submitted the handset at service center for replacement..
    the new which the retailer provied me had the same problems as earlier!!
    i would like to ask whether all SE products are of such pathetic quality???????
    i wud like like to have some serious actions taken regarding this situation or else i would love to sue SE for mental harassment and providing faulty products to consumers!!!!!

    Default complaint against Sony Ericsson - Service Center

    I (SHASHANK B) purchased a Sony YENDO W150i (IMEI 355717041947037) on 25th July 2011 at MK Mobiles ,jaya mension D-block, opp kamat hotel, secbad03,HYDERABAD,ANDHRA PRADESH . The very 3rd day i faced problem i avoided it since it 1st time i am using touch but soon after 20days i faced many problems with handset, it gets switch off while i try to read or type a sms, ones it get off it take minimum time of 45 min to on during this proces i try to do anyhting it gets off . I had given it to the Service Center - Accel care center- which is the only sony ericsson serivce center on 24th Aug 2011(Work Order# SE 31162411789) i was given my handset back after20 days on5th sep 2011 at first they said me a soft ware problem but i when was giving back my cell they said me they replaced mother board . The very next day i faced same problem switch off i went back asked he reason instead they behaved badly with me and asked just submit my mobile or leave , i left that place and with help of INTERNET i found other center of SE in KUKATPALLY but ended with same problem it was the sub branch of the same center which i visted 1st , at last i submitted my cell with little hope i got my cell in a 2 days peroid but after 15days of use age i ended with same problem they only tell me its a software problem but the truth is it was not , I clearly said them. My last visit was on NOV 5TH still facing the same problem from the month of july the month i bought my mobile i visited very month for same problem but still facing same problem didn't have satisfaction even a singel day even now. I bought YENDO 150i for 4900rs, i am using a nokia 1100 basic handset daily i get scoldings from my parents because with out there guide i bought the cell, i cant raise n talk to the center indeed they ask me to mail it you people they say it manfacture problem. A month back i got a call from SE a lady was asking about my cell i said her she ask me to tell in terms of number 0 for poor and 9 for excellent since she cant take complain in wordings, even though my cell was repaired on NOV 5TH 2011 still music player doesn't work and it's get switch off all the time. I am left with no option rather than mailing a complain. i want a permanent solution to this or please get my set replacad by another one.

    Hello Sir,

    My name is Vaishali and I am a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 user. The ear speaker of my phone started to produce scattered voice and nothing could be heard clearly. The phone was still under warranty period, so without wasting time I reported the issue at Sony Ericsson's authorized service center. The lazy representative however, told me that warranty could not be availed as one of its parts is corroded, that I really do not think was the case. That part wasn't the speaker. They fooled me and charged Rs. 1150 for replacing the ear speaker flex and did not even provide the cash receipt/ job sheet/ work order or any such thing. Despite asking for the bill, they only handed over their visiting card, mentioning the name of the replaced part on the backside.
    Apart from that, after getting the speaker issue resolved, the keyboard has now started malfunctioning. On reporting again, they now say it's liquid damage and I might have to bear the cost as this would again not be covered in warranty..

    I wonder if that's again due to liquid damage then 1. why wasn't it causing problems earlier?? 2. What the hell did they replace earlier??!

    Moreover, the customer dealing of the representatives is so poor that customer do not get a satisfactory reason at all. They keep dealing about cell-phones and accessories with their other 'regular customers' probably and I do not know whether they re-sell the unrepaired products or do what!

    I am really frustrated with this sort of behavior, Sony Ericsson. I really love Sony and my phone, and wish to get it back all working. Please do something about it, SE or you will lose your reputation badly!

    Also, please let me know what can I do next to resolve this issue.
