Hi,

My name is Manish Ranka and I am a resident of Ghatkopar (w), Mumbai. I had bought
Sony ericsson K 550i mobile from Subhiksha mobile, Ghatkopar (e), Mumbai on 15th
June 2008. Very soon the phone started switching off automatically and I took it to
D M telesystems in Ghatkopar (w), who are their authorised service centre for this
area. When they updated the software the phone went dead completely. They took one
month to replace the motherboard stating that motherboard was faulty. One week
later, the phone again went dead. This time they took one week to replace the phone
with a new phone.

However, even the new phone went dead in the month of February 2009,sure enough the
same process got repeated as in they replaced the motherboard again in one week's
time. However now with barely three weeks gone I am facing following issues:

1- the phone doesn't catch any network and
2- the battery has become faulty as the charge doesnt last even half the time.

I believe that I made a big mistake by choosing Sony ericsson over product like
NOKIA. I am tired of taking the phone again and again to service centre and having
the motherboard replaced.

I sent the entire stuff to sony ericsson guys through their website, however, they
kept suggesting me to submit the handset once again to the same service centre. i
fear i may have to drag sony ericsson to the consumer court.I have all the bills and
doucments from the service centre for any reference. I am attaching the reply from
sony ericsson when I posted the same complaint on their website:

your handset at the service center provide us the service center name and address
along with new service Tag ID.

resolution which is mutually beneficial.

We appreciate your patience and pledge you that we will try our best to regain your
faith in our company. We look forward for your kind co-operation and understanding
in this regard.

Hwoever, I am tired of following the same routine and want them to replace the
