    Default Complaint against Sony Ericsson Service Center, NOIDA

    I had given my Sony Ericsson handset W890i for repair to the Sony Ericsson authorized service center in Sec-18. Initially it had the problem that the charging point and the handsfree point(common in Sony phones) was working intermittently. The service center registered my case and gave me a job sheet (Work order no. SE31002114645). I got my cell back after 2 days on July 14th. I did not have my handsfree at that time to test, but the phone was charging fine.
    Immediately after 2 days, it started giving further problems where the headset sign was showing even without the headset being connected to the phone. This meant that even if I had to attend to a call, I would have to do it through the handsfree, otherwise it would not work.
    I went to Sony Service center again and this time they said that they would have to send it to their head office in New Delhi and gave me another job sheet (Work order no. SE31002115337). After almost a month of follow up, these people called me up and said that your set is not repairable because it has been returned from our head office. I rang Sony Ericsson Customer care and they said if you let us talk to Service Center, we would ask them to repair it. I reached their Service Center and called up Customer care. The gentlemen from Customer care tried to help but the Service Center people were too adamant. Finally, when I checked my phone while taking it from Service Center, I found out that it had a message stating "Insert Correct SIM". I tried it with multiple SIM cards and it did not work. I showed this problem to the Service Center people. They took my phone back with the same work order no. (SE31002115337). Those people kept my phone for 2 more days and finally called me up and asked whether I have purchased this phone from outside India? I told them that this phone was purchased from authorized Sony Ericsson center in Gurgaon (DT City Center). To which those people added that whoever I have purchased this phone from, has purchased it from out of India and now it has got country lock and thus is not repairable. The lady further added that this can only be done from the “grey market”, so there is nothing much that they can do and asked me to collect my cell phone.

    The biggest damage is that I gave my Sony phone in at least a working condition to Sony Ericsson authorized service center and now it is completely unusable. I had purchased this phone for around Rs. 15000.

    Default I have gave hazel phone to repair in service center at vijayawada

    I have hazel phone to repair on 21-10-2010. Display has gone automatically so i gave to repair but
    they are telling that the part hasn`t came to us so it wasnt repaired wait for some more days. One month has gone how many days i must wait i have bought for 12000 i want to use the phone not to keep in service center please see that to make repair soon or to replace the phone other wise i will go to the consumer court.

    Angry Complaint regarding replacement

    i have submited my headset of sony erricsson c903 last month and till today date i did not recieve it...they are yet saying it would take time .
    also i have to file a complaint against a customer care executive of sony center can some one gave me any help regarding this..

    I have been forced by Sony Ericsson to wirite this, i was a Fan of Sony. But not anymore.i lost the trust on Sony and its customer Service. i have A new Sony Erricssion X10 i which is 4 months OLD and i am having issue with charging point. Hence gave for servicing @ bangalore RT nagar.i was said that they would replace the whole motherboard has the phone is in warranty and later they said this issue is not covered under Warranty.. 1. Expectation set was incorrect by Sony Service Center. 2. I agreed for Servicing as i had left with no other option i am sad that Sony being such a huge company cant keep up the word. The Dmage on the charging point is beacuse it is not manufactured correctly. I have many phones of differnt companies and differnt range but i have never come accross this i ssue.

    NOW the main problem is i have been following up with Service Center For 15 days and i have not yet recived my Phone. I have been always told we will give it to tommorow as we have not yet Dipacthed from Chennai. I dont get update on the stauts nor good response from the Sony team, i have been treat as i have taken a loan from Sony and nit a phone. I have paid 23 thousand for such a waste Service. Sony has lost me has a customer. i have been your customer from the time i bought my W550i
