    Default EX115 Bug

    This is in reference to my Motorola mobile EX115 which i bought 3 months back around.

    I have noticed one problem in the set and that is what it always gives alert beeps as any message popped up in the message box and continues if message not

    read.Initially i presumed it is a good feature but gradually realized that alert beeps keeps coming although i put my cell on silent mode.This set has become

    a point of embarassment when it kept beeping in the business meetings with customers despite it was on silent mode.Infact,even in the mid night of deep sleep

    i had to go with unbearable noise.

    As per my perception about sms services,I should have freedom to read message as per my convenience and should not be forced to read the message just because

    of continuous beeps,That too in the deep of the sleep or amidst of the meetings.This set has made me embarassed,uncomfortable since i bought.This set has

    made me laughing stock among friends,colleagues.

    I,even, have complained about this bug at motorola services centre twice but in vain.i was reasoned that it is the problem with this EX115 model and we are

    helpless.

    Request you to please take a note of this serious concern of my motorola set and do the needful as soon as possible OR i will go to consumer forum.

    [my milestone is submitted for 8 days in the service centre and still no word of repair
    3 days ago when i personally went there they said the spare parts havnt come back." need replacement of parts in one year?! primary quality bad"
    the phone number on the website is old, the new numbers are either busy or unanswered.
    plead everyone NOT TO BUY MOTOROLO
    they dont have ethics of customer satisfaction

    Date of Onset of problem: 2-12-2008
    Visit to store of purchase: 4-12-2008
    Visit to service cente: 6-12-2008 (working hours 10.30am- 6PM)

    The marketing by the retail outlet chain –THE MOBILE STORE totally
    denies any connection with regards to the quality of the goods it
    sells just 10 days agp and that the product will only be serviced but
    not replaced.
    With great difficulty i reached the authorized service center. I
    really felt duped when the engineer at the AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTRE
    (REDINGTON INDIA at Trivandrum, initially informed me that the headset
    was a duplicate one and later say that no it was a mistake on their
    part to identify it wrongly. How can qualified serve engineers do this??
    After a long argument with the service centre engineer and manager, i
    reluctantly left the phone for them to evaluate the problem. After 2
    days i called up and the officials told me that there was a Level2
    problem and it has to be taken to a higher center and that the Handset
    will be replaced on 11-12-2008. But When i reached there to collect
    my handset as I didn't have sufficient time to let the service center
    send it to a higher center (takes a minimum of 10days – 2 months),
    they handed over a USED HANDSET (IMIE: 359223013456673) which had come
    for servicing for a similar complaint. The manager told me that they
    are authorized to replace a Handset with a new one only within 7 days
    within the date of purchase if found defective (but he could not show
    any printed document stating so) and the maximum they could do was to
    replace the RF BOARD that too as a special case.
    With utter dissatisfaction as i was returning home with the
    REFURBISHED HANDSET they had given me, the video display totally
    disappeared. I returned to the service centre gasping to report what
    has happened and they appeared not even surprised that their
    refurbished product has stopped functioning within the next hour of
    delivery.
    I requested them to surrender my original defective handset and close
    the jobsheet as i felt that the SERVICE CENTER is no way competent to
    handle even such a simple case.

    I do not know where the mistake lies- whether i have gone in for a
    poor quality product (MOTOROLA) or ran into a bunch of cheats who sell
    defective products (THE MOBILE STORE, TRIVANDRUM) or so called
    Authorized but Incompetent Service centres (REDINGTON INDIA LIMITED,
    Trivandrum).
    I hope that this meek voice of mine is heard atleast by somebody who
    thinks this is an important issue. This is the state of affairs for a
    person who holds a POST DOCTORAL QUALIFICATION, imagine the plight of
    the common man... it is SHAMEFUL..[/QUOTE]

    Default internet connectivity problem

    Hi my self Sijo ,My no.9911917532,
    I had recently purchase motorola phone defy +,
    But it has not been able to connect to internet ,my data plan is from Idea ,i had discussed with them they told their services are OK .have to check with moto service centre .besides every time i go to connect moto blur ,it shows an error "the phone radio is unable to connect to the network make sure the radio is on and is if on move to better place for coverage area and try again ,, can any body help me..to start internet on it..........

    I purchased motorola ex128 mobile on dated 30-01-2011 from A-One mobile which is division of big bazaar at himalaya mall drive in road ahmedabad.Please check attached my bill
    Last 2 days my mobile stoped working suddenly. So I went to dealer and he give me address of service center “Shop No:66, Chinubhai Tower, Opp.Handloom House, Nr.H.K.College, Ashram Road,
    Ahmedabad – 380009, Gujarat – India.” But he refused to repair it (without any charge) although it’s under warranty and he asked me to pay Rs. 1000 and he can repair same problem which is frustrating.
    So please let me know followed up procedure to go ahead with this. Please reply ASAP.

    Default Repairing of MotoMobile

    Dear Sir,

    I had purchased
    MotoRizer Z3 in 2007, one fine day the handset slipped from my pocket and now i want to change the screen and battery of the instrument.

    Surprisingly i did not find any service center in bhopal, please help me out.
