In INDIA it may nt b possible its true...
Because in INDIA the theft cases r increasing n the concerned departments do nt act wisely on the issues of Public interest
instead they r busy making money.
If u search on net u wil find that Country like Australia.
They have put strict rules 4 tracing n blocking of Lost mobiles.
But INDIA is ages behind 2 follow such things..

Recently I get to know from my friend that you can help me for tracking my mobile phone .Nokia model (N79).
This was stolen in thane railway station at morning while caching a train for CST on platform no 6 on
Dec 22-12-2009. I had purchased above cell phone on dated Dec 20-12-2009 through my ICICI Credit card on installment basis. I already lodge the complain with thane railway police for the same vide complaint no 1116/2009.

In spite of number of follow up with the police till date I could not able to get my above mentioned phone. I even tried with Nokia Gallery for the same; I was told that they are not tracing stolen cell phone.

This is regarding theft of my Nokia Mobile , Model No C5233 - with IMEI No 356908030378305 on 22.09.2010 from Ellisbridge Ahmedabad with Vodafone No-9925834494. I have already lodge complaint to the nearest Police station at Ellisbridge Police Station Ahmedabad also regarding lost of mobile. I have also submitted the copy of police complaint & Mobile bill to the Vodafone store Relief Road Ahmedbad and at Vodafone house, Legal Department , Prahladnagar Garden, Ahmedabad for tracking of my mobile. But then after Vodafone Essar Ltd , Gujarat Circle Ahmedabad is not ready to track my lost mobile nor they are ready to provide any information regarding new user of this mobile.

Please help me in this regard.
