Some one stole my mobile yesterday(23rd of july 2010) when I was travelling in a crowded bus, The IMEI number is
353422040104373

Can you some one please advice me and block the phone if possible?

For blocking your mobile phone using IMEI number, first you need to submit a complaint in police station stating that it has been stolen (for this FIR shall be filed). Once lodge a police complaint, you will receive a receipt from the police. The same receipt you need to provide at your mobile service porvider (Vodafone/Airtel/Tata Indicom/Reliance Com etc) asking them to block the mobile phone with the IMEI number mentioned in the police complaint. Make sure you mentioned you mobile IMEI number in the complaint you gonna give to the police and ask them to mentioned the IMEI number in the receipt that you gonna get from them.
