My Name is Jesse Jagadam, I am giving you this complaint on behalf of my uncle Mr.Jagadam Babji .
We bought a Nokia 6300 handset on the December 31 2008, the handset worked fine till Febuary 15 2009 ,but did not start on the 16th febuary 2009 ,so I took the handset to Nokia Care centre at Kakiada,E.G.Dist, Andhra Pradesh. They have checked the handset and told that the handset has got some hardware problem and needs to be sent to the company .
They asked me to come back after 15 days to get a handset replaced ,and so I visited the Nokia Care centre on the 27th of febuary when i have recieved a call from them , when i went there they told me that the handset is repaired and to my surprise the handset panel was fully scracted and was looking very old and I am sure that the panel is changed and it is definitely not mine ,so I did not accept the handset because when I gave them the handset is brand new just 1month old and it never had even a hint of a scratch , I did not accept the handset and complained nokia Care Line about it, they have registered a complaint and asked me to contact after 2 days and I did so , when I have contacted Nokia care Line after two days they told me that they have contacted the care centre and they told them that handset is Ready and I can collect it from the Service centre and I did so and again the service centre guys tried to give me the same scratched handset and told me that I have a wait a few days if I need a new panel , I have left the place and contacted the Nokia Care Line again ...and then they told me that they are placing this complaint on a high priority and asked me to contact them in 24 hours ......
I have contacted them after 24 hours that is on the 14 march 2009 and now they are telling me that the handset has to be sent to the company again and I will recieve the handset only after 15 days ......
The handset is with the Nokia Care Centre for almost a month now and they want another 15 days .....please I need justice ....please help

Yesterday I have recieved a call from the service centre saying that the handset was recieved from the company and when I went to the collect the handset panel is okay but the Sticker that contains the imei no is removed and then sticked back is there a chance that they might chenge the handset and stcik the sticker to a different handset please respond quickly ...I have been without a phone for the past two months please help............

Yes I didi check the imei and on my research in google I have seen that one can actually chenge the imei of a phone ...
