On 2nd of March 2010, I have purchased SONY ERICSSON YARI U 100i in Mobile stores, Anna nagar, Chennai.
After usage of 2.5 months, my handset got problem with key pad. Hence I brought my handset to their authorised service centre in Anna nagar, Chennai.
They said, the mobile is affected by water entrapping and started corrosion. And there is no stock for that particular spare and takes 1 week time.
Hence I again went to Nungambakkam service centre, ACCEL AUTOMATION PVT LTD, CHENNAI. They also repeated the same answer. I am 100% sure that my mobile is not affected by water. Some sweating water may be there.
Now my question is, will the branded mobile started corrosion within 2.5 months? That too sweating water. If my mobile affected by water, all the metallic parts suppose to corrode. But the corner of the part only started rust. I have warranty period for that handset. And they told that spare will be chargeable. Please take severe action against their product and do needful.
