Dirty Deal from Naaptol Dear Sir,
I have placed order with Naaptol.com for purchase of mobile phone model K28 Java Touch Screen Multimedia phone after reading their advertisement in newspaper.
The phone was delivered to me promptly on 29 April 2010 through courier vide Order No330037 dt 23 April 2010 and the payment of Rs 4199 was made by me on delivery of the product.However on receiving the product I found the following shortcomings in the product
1. Back cover is not fixing properly and is made of very thin and filmsy material.
2.Phone is not charging properly and automatically gets discharged within minutes.
3. There is no proper Users Manual which can guide the working of the phone.
4. No software CD is provided to attach the phone with computer.
5. Phone is of unknown Chinese make which was not mentioned in the advertisement.
I have spoken to Customer Care Deptt of Naaptol today who have asked me to return the product by courier for replacement.I have returned the phone by courier with a request to either exchange the product with some known branded product or refund the money .There is no point in receiving back the product of same brand which has already shown a number of deficienciencies from day one.
I now suggest through your forum that such type of Spurious products should be banned and companies like Naapto who are marketing such products should be penalised for taking their customers for a ride.
I am waiting for the reply from Naaptol and if I am not satisfied by the response I will be bound to take legal action against Naaptol

After checking your Naaptol account, I've found that the Mobile is replaced and re-delivered to you on 10/06/2010.

sreekant i had purchased a mini laptop from NAAPTOL in april it had complaint and i send it back to then in may got back the product and within 4 days again the same complaint again i sent it back in june i got back the product with same complaint i called up and they gave me the local service centre address where they kept it for 2 days and after that they said i need to send to company directly . so again i sent it to compasny and on 26 th june i called up naaptol they told me to mail me the POD copy to them so on 26 th june i called up the company and told them to REFUND MY AMOUNT and they confirmed the same and i was told i will be getting the chq within 21 working days . but today that is 9 th july couirer person called me and imformed me that i have parcel from NAAPTOL that too on CASH on delivery Rs 6298\ so i again called up NAAPTOL and told so they say company people would send you the repaired laptop.i have requested them to send me the refund.
