    Angry Problem in Sony Ericsson T715

    Sir/Madam,
    REG: Post Purchase problem facing with WAVETELL. Product: SONY ERICSSON T715 for Rs.9250/-

    I am G.Hemalatha from chennai, I bought SONY ERICSSON T715 mobile hand set in WAVETELL – ALWARPET (CHENNAI) showroom on JAN 14th ‘10 (Pongal Holiday) around 5'o clock for Rs.9250. The very next day JAN 15th ’10 within 24 hours all the media files are been hidden/deleted automatically and there was damage in battery door. I went to WAVETELL and raised the issue, they checked my mobile but they were unable to tell the problem. Since they didn’t identified they gave me new MEMORY CARD (They suspected the memory card).

    Again the next day 16th JAN ‘10 the same problem rose for me. Media files were not in my mobile. I went to WAVETELL and asked for mobile set replacement. They stated that as per the SONY ERRICSSON policy mobile set can be replaced if the problem is found within 5 minutes (HOW END-USER CAN EXPLORE THE HANDSET WITH IN 5 MIN). “I don’t know whether this is SONY ERICSSON’s policy or WAVETELL’S own policy to fool the customer”. WAVETELL is more concerned about their new customers who are waiting to be cheated by WAVETELL but not the present customer (Like me).

    After a huge argument and irresponsible statements they accepted to pass DOA and to get me new hand set of Sony erricsson T715.

    The handset was surrendered on Jan 18th ‘10 afternoon around 3'o clock for which they gave me a standby Sony Ericsson J105i mobile (of another customer like me). Till last Friday (05th Feb 10) it was really a big struggling days for me to keep in touch with them to track my mobile status. They were asking me to return back the stand by mobile since the owner of that mobile claiming it. During these 3 weeks there was no proactive response from WAVETELL CRM. Always it was being a one way communication.

    At last week Friday 05th Jan 10, I was asked to come to Plaza complex Numgambakkam and they gave me a “so called sealed pack” of T715. They unsealed in front of me and I checked. Now that the mobile is having the same problems
    1. Media files are being hidden/deleted often. Once I restart my mobile I can find my files.
    2. I found the key pad has some problem.
    3. The screws are being re-screwed/Tampered (How a brand new mobile can be re-screwed)
    4. Once the mobile is restarted its asking for “Format Memory Card”
    5. There are scratches found.

    I have never come across such kind of mobile hand set issues in my life. This WAVETELL selling second hand /Damaged / Tampered/ Stolen set to the customers. I spent lot my time and money for calling WAVETELL and meeting them in person. These guys making my life very tough and miserable.

    Since am a Software Engineer (private concern) the importance of a mobile set in known. During the period of replacement they got back their stand by mobile and so I spent three days with out mobile set.

    Since I faced a bad deal with WAVETELL I don’t like to go back to them again. I would like the consumer court (Which will raise voice for customers) to advice me on this. Waiting for your valuable suggestions and comments.

    I went to WAVETELL and filed complaint on 15th jan 2010, They gave me memory card replacement and it was working fine
    Again problem raised and went to WAVETELL and filed Complaint on 16th Jan 2010 and they asked to surrender my mobile and I did so.
    18th Jan 2010 Full kit it surrendered.

    Sir still problem persists. I enquired Mr.Madhavan and Mr.Ramesh about this. They are asking me to file a complaint against Sony ericsson and they said chain of purchase is from SONY ERICSSON to Mahaveer communication (their distributor) and to Wavetell communications

    The status of the mobiles is, Its prompting to format the memory card when i restart the mobile and for that time all my media file are not shown but it resides in the memory card. But now when i remove and placed my memory card from the slot and restarted my mobile all the files are showing.

    I don’t know what’s happening to my handset and all the way I can’t restart are remove and put my memory card.

    Sir, as such i didnt complaint/service to sony ericsson because I am unable to reach them. I send the same copy of the above thread to sony ericsson through online support. Following is the reply I got from them.

    I am dinesh from erode, I bought SONY ERICSSON T715 mobile hand set in SKY WORLD (ERODE) showroom on MAR 01th ‘10 around 3'o clock for Rs.9700. The very next Month may automatically hanged & the second times is same complient,and there was damage in battery door. I want to KRISHNA CELL SERVICE and raised the issue, they checked my mobile but they were unable to tell the problem.
