It is with utmost grievance and sadness I wish to state that I had bought Nokia 6700c - black color on 2nd January 2010 with great enthusiam and happiness to begin my New Year with great gift.
The details of the phone being:
Model - 6700c - Black color
IMEI number - 353181037362663
Purchase date - 2nd January 2010
Center - Sangeetha Mobile- Jayanagar, Bangalore
Date given for Service - 12 January 2010.
Customer Cente r- Magnum Fashions, Jayanagar 3rd block.

However, my joy was shortlived as within 2 days, the phone went dead. Originally, thought it was due to battery but after multiple attempts to charge it, it failed to switch on itself. I went to Nokia Care Center - Magnum Fashions, Jayanagar 3rd Block on 12th January 2010 and they said the system is defective. It needs to be sent to head office and will take 10 days for replacement. From then on, it has been regular followups and calls, with no replacment yet received. Even the replacements being given wasn't working at the Nokia Care center itself - brand new ones failing to switch on and thrice they had to send it back either the product being of different color or faculty equipment given. Every time, I call up, I only get answer that we understand and we are awaiting details from Head office. An old standby equipment given too was faulty and again I had to run to get a replacement. I rasied a complaint with Nokia customer service - 1-10791256526. It was tough time for me physically as I had recently delivered and leaving my new born child, I had to run around to the service center, everytime they call only to realize that the replacement too is defective. I am so frustrated with the way Nokia treats thier customer and the purchaser has to wait for weeks with no respite in site.
I sought my money back or an alternative model, for which I got no response. The mental agony that I am undergoing after having spent over Rs 13000 and the multiple calls, trips made is enormous. I haven't seen any other manufacturer taking so much time to replace and it is just monopoly being shown by Nokia.
I seek compensation for the agony that I am undergoing and take up the matter urgently and am yet to receive the replacement with no commitment so far on it either.
