I am subscriber by name Unity Infrastructures Ltd. and subscribed for 15 sims. Mobile no. 9822057262 is one of them. My IMEI number which appeared when I pressed on my mobile star, hash, 06 and again hash. It is as follows – 351967-01-534256-6-14. To check IMEI number I sent it through sms to 53232. I got reply that it is not valid. IMEI number contains 15 digits. But my IMEI number is 17 digit.

My mobile is manufactured by Motorola. After opening flap of mobile on machine I got IMEI number - 351967016035763. If this number sent to 53232 it is said that it is wrong number.

Today my mobile is working. But it is for me to confirm my IMEI number appearing on my mobile may be in use by another person without my knowledge. Yes, it happened that once I gave my mobile for repairing purposes.

So my request is to check both the numbers 351967-01-534256-6-14 and 351967016035763.

Number appearing on my mobile is 351967016035763. If it is in use by another person please check.

Dear sir

Myself Yogesh from Pune,India.I bought a Motorazr V8 from authorized motorola shoppe with bill (IMEI no. 357335010226867).When I send the IMEI no. to 53232 ,it is replying back that its a valid IMEI no. I also sent the no. to 121 Airtel and its also hit back with a valid IMEI no. But still my phone ha got disconnected since last 2days.

When I talked to Motorola service centre they are saying'We have uploaded the all valid IMEI no but Airtel has not taken in their database' and after calling Airtel its saying its a Motorola fault we cant do anything.

Can you plz guide on me. The motorola service centre is really pathetic and its takes ages for them to even attend the call wasting time and money.

How should we get connected with Dept. of Telecom and complaint this?
