I took a LG KU990 (viewty) phone in Pune on 2/6/08.
Problem:
After 6-7 months a problem started occurring, if there is no activity for more than 6 hrs on the network i.e. no incoming/outgoing calls or messages from the Mobile the mobile freezes. I am not able to receive or dial a call from the mobile.
There is no way to determine when this problem will occur.
Steps taken by me:
I have given it for servicing (under Warranty) at least 5 times for either PCB replacement or Software install, to the LG Authorized service center(MICROCHIP) .
They have replaced the PCB of this handset twice and the Software is reinstalled for at least 2 times. But still the problem exists.
The handset was taken for testing in all for at least 10 days by Microchip, yet the problem is not resolved.
I had a call with the LG contact person - Sachin Ugale. Now he wants to test it again.This Phone has gone for testing for more than 5 times.
The contact person(Sachin Ugale) is not cooperating, the service station is unable to get the problem resolved and Mr. Sachin talks in a very rude manner.
I have sent a email to lgservice@lgindia.com regarding this, but there is no reply from their side.
I am fed up with this LG product.
Can you please tell me what steps should i take.
