    Default Incoorrect Vodafone Live Charges

    Hello Madam/Sir,

    I have been incorrectly charged RS 2940.20 for Vodafone Live GPRS on my Vodafone mobile number 9930390860. I am a customer with vodafone since nearly a year. in all my previous bills till date there have never been any charges for GPRS and suddenly there is a huge charge 2940.20. I have never used GPRS. I requested them to send me details on sites and downloads which they say cannot be given. They have also charged me for ring tone. If i check my mobile there are no ring tones that i downloaded. Vodafone do not provide details of which ring tones are downloaded or which sites were visited.

    I have registered a complaint with vodafone but all they come back and say that these charges are correct and i need to pay the bill.

    Please guide me how i can register a complaint with cosumer court, as i would like to ensure that vodafone cannot and should not cheat customers like this.

    Pls. send a written complaint to the Nodal officer of the Co. for the desired help or information from Co. Wait for the response for 10 days. Hope you will get the solution through Nodal officer.

    I have received reply from Vodafone that Vodafone live usage charges in your bill dated 25/08/09 are accurate. They have not provided me the site details visited etc. Vodafone claim their billing system registers details provided by our Content Providers, for download application recorded for each SIM card. These details are accurately recorded and appear in your bills accordingly. Hence they cannot reverse the charges.

    They also said VL@0 service is a default service so although i have not requested this service it was active on my mobile.

    I have not used GPRS on my mobile. So would not want pay the sum of RS 2940.20 for something i have not used.

    Please guide me if i can file a case in consumer court against vodafone for these incorrect charges as i neither want to pay and would also like to ensure that vodafone stops cheating their customers.

    Default Incorrect GPRS Charges

    Do i have the legal rights to ask vodafone which sites i have visited, as they only provide time and size of data for GPRS not sites. I want to ensure and confirm they are not cheating.

    Dear Mr. Patel,

    First of all try to sort the Complaint at Company level. If you have sent any written complaint to the Nodal Officer ( as per our suggestion) just wait for 10 wokring days and revert back soon after that time period or after getting any response from them.

    This is reply i got. As per vodafone the charges are correct. But i have not used GRPS. What could i do to get actual site details they claim i have visited.

    dear sir, i am the owner of vodafone post paid mobile no 9999020687 a new service named vodafone mobile connect was started with out my request automaticly in month of may on my number these day i was under training so i was away from home and used to foud bill through sms so i could ont know about that service i know about that service in october i try to get information and try to complaints all times the custmer care officer say the server is not giving information so we cant register complaints just go to vodafone store and in vodafone request the same story repeted now i have stopped pay bill so the officer of custom care threating me court case against me and not giving me date and time of activation of this service this service is 899rs/m i have pay 5 time for this service with tex please take action against vodafone and order vodafone to give my monye back it will be your kindness

    For the above problem i am still getting calls from Vodafone. Please could you guide me how to register this complaint in cosumer forum. I have been charged with Rs 2940.20 for Voda fone live a service i have never requested or used. Please let me know how can i take this to cosumer court and ensure that the judge takes a decision of customers being charged huge sums for services they have not requested nor used.

    Default complain against customer care

    d customer care deactivated ma caller tune saying dat dey will refund d money.dey demselves deactivated it on dat v day wen it was renewed n 4-5 of dem assured me dat i will be refunded ma money n after 15 days dey r jus sayin a "sorry"........
