    Angry AIRTEL Cheating the Customer's with Huge bill amount for 2g Internet Usage(98 +149rs)

    I have been using Airtel Super Saver 199 post paid corporate SIM past 2years.Generally i get a bill amount in the range of 300 to 450rs with mobile internet 2g service 98 Pack.But for the bill period of 20th April 2012 to 19th May 2012 the bill amount is 7285/-Rs.
    The bill says i have used 1734618Kb(1.65GB) for this month which is quite impractical with a 2g plan as the internet speed is too slow.
    I have just switched on internet to pay my bills,browse webpages(i havent even used it to download anything from the net and watch you tube videos as it is not possible with the 2g speed).
    In the middle of the month i got a message from that the data free usage is about to be 1gb so topup the plan.So i activated 149plan which is 2gb free and for 15days it is 1gb free.So totally i got a data usage free equivalent to 2gb (98rs +149rsplan).
    I registered a complaint with customer care the complaint number is "43786259".The resolution that they gave is to pay the bill amount of 7285/- as it is charged prorata basis which is of no use!!!.
    This is so cruel on the part of a airtel to actually charge 6800 rs for 2g internet usage on a cell phone.
    Later on the airtel had called me that they will give 50% off on the bill.But this is not the solution to the problem.Because i have not commited any kind of mistake from my end to result in such a huge bill amount.


    When i activated 149 plan by calling the customer care they said that for 149 plan i will get 1gb for the next 15days prorata basis but now when i get the bill they have given only 500mb free for 98rs plan as per prorata basis.This thing was not informed to me during the activation of 149plan.Moreover i got a message from customer care that i am about to reach 1gb of my data usage.The customer care professional was also aware of this i asked her to check the usage and activate 149 plan.If airtel people would have informed that i will not get the complete 1gb free usage for the 98plan then i would have never ever activated 149 plan and its quiet clear.Nobody would pay 6000rs+odd extra for the already used 1gb and activate 149plan.You can track this from your calls wherein you have failed to give me the complete information of this.This is clearly a fault from your end.Then you have to correct this by actually waiving of the damage caused due to the improper information from your side.According to right to infromation act you have to give the customer the complete information about the product and then sell it to him/her.


    The data usage is 1.63gb as per the bill if the 98rs and 149rs plan gives the complete benefit of 2gb as per the understanding from the customer end then i am well within the data usage limit.My bill amount should be some were around 500rs.


    Please resolve this issue or discontinue all the services including incoming,outgoing services on my cell.Thanks a lot for this great service.

    Angry Last Date to Pay my Bill is 8th june

    Please resolve this issue asap as Last Date to Pay my Bill is 8th June or else please discontinue all the services.
