I had a Airtel postpaid connection few months back. Initially credit limit was set to Rs.500 which was raised to Rs.3500 withoutmy concern. Dont know what actually is the meaning of credit limit. What I assume, credit limit is the amount to control the billing amount and service usage. Ideally if the credit limit is reached the service should be stopped and should be retained in special cases or when customer pay the usage amount. But Airtel. raised my credit limit without asking mmy concern.
I had paid my 3-4 bill of around 2000 each every month. After that my 1-2 bills were pending because of some of m personal problem I was no getting chance to pay bill amount.So my outgoing calls were barred and then my incoming calls were also barred and then Airtel guys were not able to reach me.
After this, I got a new SIM card and started using it. These people called me on the altenate number that I had provided them during the new connection. But I was not in touch with him he was not aware my new number.
Now, Airtel started playing the Super Gunda game now. Numbers were leaked out of my call details to third party agencies. A big breach of Personal information security by a so called big professional corporate. Fraud Calls were made to my wife's number and using bad quotes and languages by some crap fellows. They introduces themselves as STAR courier guys. I called these guys and when I asked them they started abusing and threatening me. I told those idiots that you cannot pull out a single penny out of my pocket If you are handling it like this. I could have paid the bill in no time if was a professional call and there was some professional process in place. It was they who raised my credit limit to 3500 and my pending bill amount was 6700.
Again Airtel called on the other number pulled out of my call details saying they are courier guys and asking for billing amount.
Although I had paid the bill now, but I want to make sure that these idiot fellow should not thing that there Gundagardi can do anything. I want to pull these guys to court. I dont want anything but atleast there should be a lesson teached to these people.
I have only three concerns, one why my credit limit was raised without my concern and how my bill amount was 6700 when credit limit is 3500.two, how the numbers from my call details were passed on to third party agencies? third, how can you use absive language?
