I have submitted a cheque for payment of Vodafone dues on 1st of December 2011, in Madhapur branch of Vodafone store, On 5th of December this got debited from my account but did not get credited towards my bill payment. On 10th of December my number got disconnected even after repeatedly providing all relevant information to Vodafone care (Cheque number, Date of Dropping the cheque, Date of cheque clearance and Vodafone store branch).
In my next billing cycle I even got charged late payment fees. I wrote 6 mails to customer care (as I was travelling I could not visit the Vodafone store) but no help was given. After returning to Hyderabad I visited the Vodafone store at Raj Bhavan road 3 times between 13th of January and 22nd of January but again after repeated assurance that this would be taken care of within 24/48 hours, 2 weeks later the issue still remains live.
I want to take Vodafone to Consumer Court and get them to pay me back for this inconvenience. It has been over 2 months and nothing has happened.
