hi ,
I am Abhishek Sharma and i have a vodafone postpaid sim which i'm using for the last 3 months. My vodafone mobile no. is 9796007983 which has a monthly rental of 348(inluding 3 gb internet pack, sms @30 , 99 fixed rental and rs 30 for hellotunes). I usually get a bill of less than 1500 and my c redit limit is 1700 . But the bill generated in the month of december 2011 is 12000 , which is a very big deal for me .In december i wanted to utilise 3gb limit , knowing that if i exceed my 3gb it can cause a lot of trouble for me so i called up the customer care to check if there s any way to check my internet usage . In reply he told me that once I cross the 3gb limit I'll get a notification message , my outgoing will be barred and further told me that i have a credit limit of 1700 and if they fail to notify me , alternatively my outgoing will be barred once my bill reaches 1730 or 1800 to the max. He assured me to use the gprs facility without any fear and my bill will be normal .
Obviously none of the above happened and when the vodafone executives sent their recovery agents , i told them that it wasnt my fault as their customer executive himself told me the above to which they replied that i never called up the customer care nor they have any record for it .
Since then they are sending someone to me and threatening me to pay the bill which is just based on the wrong information fed to me. My bill without the internet usage is just Rs 700 which im willing to pay.
My question to vodafone is that if im not allowed to check my internet usage , how will I control my usage?
If vodafone cant tell internet usage , on what grounds they make the bill?
Why they barred by outgoing on the 28th of december and when my bill reached Rs 12000 as my bill period ends on last date of each month and i still had 3 more days ?

Hi ,
i have a vodafone postpaid sim which i'm using for the last 3 years. My vodafone mobile no. is 9916288709 which has a monthly rental of 475(inluding 2 gb internet pack @ 99, STD bundle @200, 175 fixed rental). I usually get a bill of less than 700 and my c redit limit is 6300. But the bill generated in the month of January 2012 is 15000 , which is a very big deal for me. I activated this Mobile internet packe some 4 months back, knowing that if i exceed my 2gb it can cause a lot of trouble for me so i called up the customer care to check if there s any way to check my internet usage . In reply they told me that once I cross the 2gb limit I'll get a notification message, in addition they asked me to install 3GWatchDog on my phone which will keep track of my data usage. They assured me to use the gprs facility without any fear and my bill will be normal .
Till last month Vodafone bill was fine and data usage was matching with 3gWatchDog counter but there is a huge difference for the Jan bill. Data from 3gwatch dog says i have used 1.9 GB but Vodafone bill shows its 3.4 GB!!!! They have sent a bill of Rs 15000.
I have called them so many times, even sent them mail but now they are not agreeing for anything. They are telling charges can not be waived off as i have used that much data. I am not in a position to pay this much huge amount and if my credit limit is 6500, then y my GPRS usage is not stopped at that point of time....this is really very embarsing for me...i have visited vodafone stores also, but havent got any proper resolution for this.
