    Angry Suing Airtel for Breach of Trust and Harassment

    This is to inform you that I had been using Airtel corporate Plan(8146996211) for the last one year and in SEP’11 I left the company. My corporate Id was registered with Airtel. So since I left the company I couldn’t access my official mail id for bill.
    After two months My friends got the threatening calls from the ‘Airtel Recovery Goons’ abusing and harassing them. They gave him my number to clarify the issue with me. Recovery Agent called me and told me that my bill is for Rs. 5600, I said its impossible since my credit limit was Rs. 3000, to which he said we increased it to Rs 5000(without any intimation given to me) and he started abusing me. I have been asking them for the clarification since I really think its a case of misbilling to me and a mistake had been done from Airtel's end. They are not ready to give me the clarification for the same. They say that they cannot give a proof. Ontop of that, the Airtel recovery agents have been continuously harassing me, my family and my friends. The bill is a corporate connection and the address is in the company's name.

    These all things happened with me last month continuously for 2 days and nobody got the calls after that. I thought the issue must have been resolved, so I didn’t take any action but surprisingly after a month same incidents have started happening, now a lady is harassing my friends, family and me since yesterday. The lady who is harassing me now is calling from 09803009898.


    I am going to sue Airtel under different sections of IPC, if I don't get my problem resolved within a day or two

    Actions I am going to take

    • file an FIR for 9803009898
    • · Since my call history is absolutely private. How dare Airtel can give it to some third party(IPC 408 Breach of Trust).
    • · Case of harassment and Verbal abuse to me, my family and my friends.(IPC 498 A for women)

    I'll urge everyone never to go with Airtel and specially postpaid if you want a tension free life...... Airtel guys are the worst guys....

    Meanwhile I've also mailed the HR regarding the incident and asked her to discontinue with the Airtel's CUG plan...

    Airtel policy is to keep sending meaningless form letters - then outright lies - here is my experience - first they cut my prepaid mobile despite my charging it with Rs 500 - then they agreed to refund the amount to my landline account - it was not done - now they deny that the mobile number was ever activated despite my sending sms records etcNandini Mukherjee

    May I inform you that all the sms messages are on my mobile -downloaded onto my computer - also I have the sim and all the papers but evidentlyyou are only interested in scamming customers - not interested in resolvinggenuine complaints,

    I have been doing a survey in my area - on sites and the maximumamount of complaints have been regarding airtel scamming -many dealers refuseto see airtel and I myself go around to the shops - whenever I have theoccasion and share my experiences.

    Any other company would feel SHAME particularly after having beenone of the better telecom companies. Now your name is in the mud. Any otherprofessional company would investigate the complaint, but you continue tobombard with more LIES.

    Please read below the sms documentation.


    It seems you have not taken the trouble to read any of my complaintswhich speaks very clearly of your intention to not respect your clients. Themain aim is to undertake a war of attrition, deliberately not address theirconcerns and instead of resolving the matter elongate it. Clearly airtel whichwas a company that I respected earlier for its customer care should be named asCUSTOMER SCAMMING.
    1. I have send you all the complaints from my registeredemail which is the current one. Evidently you seem to be mixing up someoneelses details with me. This therefore appears to be a regular SCAM - cutting ofprepaid numbers with a lot of account balance. Then subsequently harassing thecustomer so that the customer will forgo the money. This is actually SMEARINGMUD on the name of the company.
    2. Here are the sms received for activation - recharge(total amount paid Rs 600

    Documents mentioned below were given by my dealer immediately -duly stamped. These included pancard-passport driving licence.
    These were returned with no reason given. Further - please readmy complaint below instead of further trying to give misleading messages.Evidently now company policy to wear out the customer and steal their money.

    Please also read below that I was first told by a nodal officerthat it would be activated by calling a certain number. This did not happen.Instead I was asked to go to the relationship centre and give in the papersmyself.

    I did this

    I gave in a copy of the airtel landline bill - account detailsPANCARD, PASSPORT & DRIVING LICENCE

    The staff instead of resolving the issue started making sexistremarks and harassing me further.

    YOUR STAFF IS A BUNCH OF LUMPEND AND HOOLIGANS

    This has been stated repeatedly to all the various officials whohave called me, some regretting the matter and assuring me that action will betaken and that the amount with compensation will be given to my airtel account.

    THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED

    It is laughable that you keep an untrained staff, expend moneyon their salaries and harass genuine customers.

    I have been with Airtel for 7 years and never missed a billpayment

    Therefore I urge you to immediately rectify the complaint

    Issue is still same... You haven't answered any of question.
    My questions to airtel are
    1. My limit was 2700..how you people increased it to 5000 without giving me any intimation about that?(I never asked for that)
    2. My call history is ABSOLUTELY PRIVATE. how dare you people gave it some external goons agency. they are constantly harassing my friends.
    3. I want all the call details.(call by call, I never got that)

    Nobody should take Airtel postpaid, if you want to live a happy life for you and your family and friends.

    I am going to send you people a RTI within next week. Your goons are calling and harassing me and my friends again and again. I have also asked my friends to file the case for IPC 498 A against airtel.

    Today again me and my friends got the call from one of the agency you shared my number and my call history with. The number from which I got the call is +91 8968863386.
