    Default Termination of prepaid No. 8853305855 w/o notice..

    Dear Sir,

    I had already lodged a complaint against Airtel in this forum before (in October 2011) but to no avail. My pre-paid number 8853305855 taken from Allahabad was terminated and was given to some other person without my prior consent. I was out of town and had not used the SIM for around a month and a half and they terminated my number and took away all the available balance. The main problem is that they asked for my documents thrice and each time they temporarily disconnected my number and after submitting each time, all my available balance was stolen. The total would be around Rs. 200 (I can't give the exact number as I did not get the chance to know exactly how much they have stolen). I am completely at a loss for words. How can they terminate my number without intimating me when they have both my email address and my residential address (we have to enter those in their forms). Airtel is really a bunch of thieves. I can't stop them but can only request my friends and family to refrain from Airtel connection. I hope you would help me.

    I would like to take back my complaint. Airtel called me today morning and has refunded me by Rs. 200. I would like to thank them very much for such a gesture.
